You know that saying that the days are long but the years are short?

THAT.

So, completely totally that.

Now please excuse me while I go freak out that my kids are gigantic and it’s only gonna get worse.

Related: I freaking adore my little troupe of crazy.

Have a happy and safe night tonight, friends.

From my growing (both in height and number) clan to yours, Happy Halloween.

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.

Happy Halloween, Jeannette. Your kids are just so cute. And, they do grow way too fast, don’t they? Can we work on trying to find something to slow them down?

Truer words were never said. Time flies. This Grandma thanks you for the trip down memory lane. I can’t believe I didn’t make any costumes this year! Love you all so much!

I know…it sounds like an announcement, but I assure you it is not. Just that as you scroll, the crowd gets bigger and bigger. :)

2014’s pumpkin picture should still have four. (I only say should because I long ago learned to never say never.)

I know! I totally had that moment going through old Halloween photos this month. And, while I know the day will come that I’ll look back at pictures of them *now* and think, “oh, were they ever that little?” right now it seems like the time is slipping through my fingers and they are growing at the speed of light.

Thanks for sharing these. Your family is beautiful! <3

This is such a great way to document the years, but it is crazy how much your kids changed each year. The time really does fly. It’s kind of sad. :(
