Spread the Word {giveaway #2} GIVEAWAY CLOSED

Libby and I emailed back and forth a lot.

As we brainstormed ways to spread the word about Xander’s fundraiser, we knew that people like prizes.

People like big prizes.

People want to do good and do whatever they can to help.

By the end of it, the coolest thing happens…the prizes become secondary.

So, we devised a little plan: give away some awesome gear…and get more eyes over to Xander.

Can you even begin to imagine the ripple effect we will have with your network of connections, my network, and so on and so forth?!

THOUSANDS of eyes to read. THOUSANDS of hearts to be changed. If each gave ONE DOLLAR…

We would bring it like nuthin’ else.

God is good.

He can be as much a fixutre in social media as anyone else.

I LOVE what John Piper has to say about using social media.

“Okay, truth-lover, see what you can do with 140 characters! You say your mission is to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things! Well, this is one of those ‘all things.’ Can you magnify Christ with this thimble-full of letters?”

Now…you might notice that the person who wins this giveaway can do so without donating one cent to the fundraiser.

The deal is that even though you see it all over the place, it’s technically not kosher to tie donations to entries. I’d prefer to play it safe…as much as I’m tempted to do the whole “give $1, get 1 entry” thing.

SO.

Please know that while no donation is necessary to win…and donating to Xander’s adoption fund will not increase your chances…it’s the whole point of all of this. (Here are the official rules.)

I would urge you to please consider giving if you choose to enter the giveaway. Even $1. I promise that your $1 will add up with someone else’s dollar and MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I promise. Promise. Promise.

Again, I don’t want to confuse the issue: there is no donation necessary to win. I just think it’d be nice. :)

Introduce your readers to his sweet face and encourage them to bless a little boy on the other side of the world who has no idea there is an entire group of strangers rallying for him. Be sure to include the url for your post in your comment. I’ll have to delete your comment if you don’t…and I really hate deleting comments.

2. Facebook about the Fundraiser. NOT about this giveaway, but about the FUNDRAISER. (To make it easy, there’s even a little button at the bottom of the original post you can click and it’ll automatically post to your wall.)
