The lack of posting the last few days?

Busy, busy, lots of driving, lots of gabbing, lots of eating, lots of shopping, and lots of smiling and it leaves a girl with a serious need for recovery.
Seeing old friends again.
Six, yes, six girls sharing a hotel room.
With one queen bed.
Lots of getting lost in random parts of Southern California.
Lots of hugging and tons of wishing dear friends lived next door and not on the other side of the country.
The conference was awesome.
I met new faces…people I only knew from their tiny avatars on Twitter.
I hugged a sweet girl that I didn’t think I could possibly love any more.
Her words were lovely and beautiful and touched me deeply.
I got to speak alongside another friend that I don’t get to see nearly often enough.
I got to snort out loud with a friend that I someday need to spend 9 straight hours with because I know there are stories that can be shared.
Share an air mattress with not one, but two, fun girls and share inside jokes with a friend who’s heart I adore.
Laugh and shop with these girls. Wishing Kansas was somehow closer to California.
And lots and lots and lots more.
I intentionally left my camera in the car the entire weekend.
I decided I wanted to really be present.
Just enjoy.
While it kinda stinks for blogging purposes, I’m really glad I did.
I have more to say, but for now, I’m still processing the weekend…but the overarching theme:
People are good. I love my friends. It’s totally not weird that I met them on the internet. I need a private jet. Stat.
