Just Do It.

I heard this spot on the radio a couple of days ago, and it really resonated with me.

Which is pretty amazing for a radio spot.

After releasing a successful self-titled album in 2010 showcasing his single “Before The Morning,” Josh Wilson plans to release a new album in February of 2011 entitled See You. It features the song “I Refuse,” which was inspired by the aftermath of the storms that flooded the city of Nashville, Tennesee in the spring of 2010.

“I realized after a while that I was using my own prayers as a defense against having to do anything myself,” reflected Josh. “I can’t do everything, but I refuse to do nothing.”

He went on to say something to effect of “but what God responded with was that He was going to work…and he wanted to use ME to accomplish that goal…”  (or something like that…paraphrased).

Man…that messes me up.

A lot.

* * * *

I get emails all the time from people asking how I go about fundraising on this here little blog…

…and a lot of them include the line “I wish I knew how to do it…”

EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY! (10 points if you know what that’s from)

Anyone can do it.

You don’t need any special clearances.

You don’t need any fancy passes.

You don’t even need a blog.

Best of all?

It’s FREE to set up!

GiveForward is an amazing service that allows you to set up a fundraiser for anyone and anything.

got a friend with CRAZY medical bills?

a relative struggling with the weight of unexpected funeral costs?

or someone who could just plain use a little extra help?

You can set up a fundraiser, create  a personalized page through GiveForward and start emailing and inviting friends with your Facebook account!

It’s all integrated.

It’s all laid out simply.

It only takes a few minutes.

Don’t feel helpless when all you want to do is help.

You’d be amazed at how many people would love to help you help.

As for me and Life.Rearranged…I’m working on pulling some stuff together for our next fundraiser…I just needed a little break and some time to rethink my strategy.  So if you’ve been wondering, I’m shooting for March 1st, k?  :)

{this is a sponsored post.  giveforward paid a portion of my trip to blissdom in exchange for telling you all about what a great service they provide…and it’s the honest truth!  i really do think they are great so it’s easy!}

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.
