Post Happy

I’m going to try and link up a few of my favorite posts from blogland every week.

We’ll see how it goes.

But either way, this week there were a few I just needed to share.

Meg’s post broke my mama’s heart into a million little pieces.

{Meg’s photo.  I jacked it.  Thanks.)

One egg.

Oftentimes that is the ONLY protein kids get at the Kroo Bay Good News Club…all WEEK.

All WEEK.

Just kill me.

“Mommy, are all those vitamins for me and the sisters???!!!”

“No honey, they’re for little kids in Africa.  Mama’s gonna send them in the mail.”

“Africa?”

And so began a story of world geography, suffering, God’s providence, and sharing His love…with my three year old.

I am humbled by the honor to do that with him.

In tears.  Literally.  Now.

At the thought of a baby…someone’s precious baby…needing so desparately something that I haphazardly toss across the counter every morning to my kids.

I want to run back to Costco and clean out my bank account for hundreds of jars of vitamins.

Are you going to Costco…Walmart…Target…this weekend?  Pick up a jar…will you?

Read the deets here.

Brianna is a dear, in real life friend…who moved to Colorado.

Boo.

She always has such a great way with words.

Here’s her really great post on suffering.

I thought it segued quite nicely with Meg’s post.

Remember Kelle?

Of course you do.

Her sweet family was featured in Parents Magazine.

When my issue came in the mail, I flipped furiously before I was even back in the front door.

Four full pages of her gorgeous babies.

I was so proud of her.

In a weird-we-don’t-really-know-eachother-but-I-still-totally-root-for-you way.

And I secretly loved that she had a Walmart Moment too.  :)

And I would be remiss if I didn’t re-direct you to Kristin.

Who shared her heart about facing cancer.

Fighting it.

Using it to grow.

Leave Miss Kristin a comment of support.

Love on her will ya?  :)

So that’s my list.

Do you have any?

Did you come across something fabulous/touching/funny/convicting this week?

Share please!

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.

This is EXACTLY what I needed today- a way to get over myself and the silly little things that upset me about my life. I will be sending vitamins, and LOTS of prayers!
