Giveaway: CitySlips

This giveaway is CLOSED.
Congrats to Rachel!

I swear…I normally would tell you I never win anything…

but it seems like I’ve been winning a bunch of these blog giveaway things lately!

I recently won a pair of CitySlips from another blog, and after contacting the company, they are graciously offering one of you a pair too!

CitySlips is a really cool idea.

Basically, a pair of super cute ballet flats that fold in half.

Why?

Because that way, you can carry them in their matching pouch in your purse or diaper bag…
…still wear your uber fab stillettos

…and when your toes (inevitably) throb after a few hours, you can pull out your CitySlips, unzip the pouch to become a full size tote…

…pop your fab heels in the tote and keep right on going with your day in comfort!

I wore my CitySlips today, and they are SUPER comfy. And did I mention they are cute too?

I was worried that they would be flimsy (nope), that the folding sole would bug me (nope), or that the design of the rubber bottoms would feel weird (nope).

The only “thing” is that I should have ordered the size small…the sizing is Small: 5-6; Medium: 7-8; Large: 9-10. I wear a size 6.5/7, so I got the Medium…they’re not huge or anything, just a note if you fall in between the size range go with the smaller end. FYI.

(Oh, and in case you were wondering, I got the gold ones.)

These would make GREAT bridesmaids gifts after a long night of dancing, perfect for leaving in the trunk for mamas on the go, or a place of refuge whenever your other shoes make you want to cry Uncle!

As usual, you have 5 ways to win:

1) Visit CitySlips and leave a comment telling me which color you would get if you win.
2) Follow me on Twitter.
3) Blog about this giveaway.
4) Facebook about this giveaway.
5) Tweet about this giveaway.

I will pick a winner first thing Friday, March 5th.

Good Luck!

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.

What a fabulous idea…thanks for sharing! I'd love to win, but I might have to order a pair after I deliver our second baby any day now…they just might become one of those "necessities of the diaper bag"! I can't decide between the silver or the black! Thanks for sharing, tami

My favorite would have to be the gold, but the silver is a very close second choice!

I'm gunna have to go for the gold! It was just the olympics, right?!

  29. 79

I'd for sure get the black ones- they would be great for me for working weddings! If they are really comfy, they would be ideal for me- I usually have heals for when I am in front of guests, but wear flats while changing and for later in the night. What a great idea!

I won?!?! Woohoo!!! Now what? I couldn't find an email address to contact you. I'm new to all this blog prize winner thingies. I did win a Spanx bra a while back. That was also random and super cool… My email is happilyheldt at hotmail dot com

No biggie :) It is also a big stess reliever. I, like you, have an inbetween size foot so now I don't have to worry about small or medium ;)

Although I am thinking about getting a cute pair of slipper socks to wear in people's homes who have wood floors and no shoes rules. I get way to cold to go shoeless in CO.
