Happiness

I’m getting really excited to meet my girls.

I’m absolutely, certifiably, terrified.

Two babies.

No, let me re-phrase that…two NEWBORNS.

But, when I see photos of two snuggly, squishy, babies…my heart leaps.

And, there is a part of me that actually feels *sorry* for people who only have one baby at a time.

(Remind me of this when it is 3 a.m. and I haven’t slept in weeks.)

But really, how precious.

I feel so lucky to be chosen to go on this amazing/scary/beautiful journey.

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.

Totally. When you see pictures like this is seems like they are going to help you by taking care of each other. It’s really beautiful. I love seeing my kids love each other. That must be even more amazing when you get to watch the bond between your twins. Very cool.
