I just want to start off by saying that I *love* my kitchen. It’s huge and that makes me happy. However, I really hate my white on white countertops and I’d love to have stainless steel appliances. Unfortunately, kitchen remodels are expensive, so it’ll be at least until next summer before I get new countertops…at least. In the meantime, I added some color and made (yes made) some cafe curtains just to make it a little more home-y. (As in cozy, not g-funk homey). :)
AFTER:
Creamy yellow walls. Yellow and red striped cafe curtains (to match my Le Creuset!).
More curtains over the kitchen sink window. Bad lighting, sorry!
…Because you know, cheerios fall in his lap, and she wants to be sure he’s nice and clean! (Most times Henry giggles hysterically, because her snout poking him as she eats the cheerios off his lap tickles him!).
jeanett, your curtains look awesome! great fabric andi love the paint!
Very nice color-it looks good in there. Did you paint it yourself? I really like the curtains. Good job sewing. Of course, the highlight of the post is the Henry pics.

And why is it that your boy can grow so much hair while my poor little girl can’t keep a clip in her wisps?
P-dog? Is that you?
Wow! I didn’t know you were down like dat! HAHAHA!!! It’s always so painfully obvious that I’m this middle class suburban SUV driving mom when I try to pull out my ghetto-fab vibe! :)
