okay i can see it now, and i watched it, and oh my goodness, can you believe it?! i hate pageants and all that they stand for, though they can be entertaining to watch–for this very reason! (and can you believe she won FOURTH PLACE??? what on earth was she saying about south africa, iraq, and “asian countries”???)
okay, i saw her on the today show this morning. she totally redeemed herself. she was super nervous and had no clue what she was saying or what the question was that was asked. she answered the question well this morning. and she’s not really dumb. i’d be so embarrassed, so i’m proud of her for going on the today show.
I read about her appearance on the Today Show…my only issue is that I would bet her publicist totatlly scripted what she should say in response. I can imagine being nervous, but then again, she’s probably a “professional” pageant girl…so this is likely her 800th pageant by now…anyway, I guess it doesn’t matter, I was just shocked and had to post it. :)
i saw the today show too and i STILL thought she seemed like a total ditz! (i wish these pageants were more focused on personality, answers to questions, etc. than how someone looks in a bikini or a fancy dress and 5 pounds of makeup!)
huh?! pagents are ridiculous and stand for all the lame, shallow things. ugh!
