I feel like everyone should eat a slice of cake today.
Because Jill would fully support that decision.
So while we’re at Disneyland rockin’ out our purple for epilepsy awareness, you guys should slam some cake.
Because CAKE.

If I had some cake to eat, I’d totally do it for her! Sometimes you just need to celebrate the tiny things in life and make them super important – her seizure being dealt with so quickly by her teachers, less medicine needed, and everything you mentioned in your last post are all worth celebrating!
It’s not epilepsy related, but when my brother was undergoing chemo, we tried to celebrate whatever could be (while also being extremely sad that things weren’t working out for him). Sometimes you just have to do that to survive. Good luck with your daughter!
Maybe I’ll take the kids for cupcakes in the city after school, in honor of Jilly. Hope you all have a fabulous time at Disney!
