Holy smokes, folks.
We’re in the thick of our crazy summer schedule filled with parties and assorted busy. To top it off, I spent yesterday morning in the emergency room…having to call 911…not for Jill…but for OWEN. Yeah… He’s fine now. But I’ll tell that story on Monday. It’s a little long for InstaFriday.
Join us as we seek out the sweet simple moments in our daily grind. It really is fun.
I’m jeannettg on Instagram if you want to follow.
Look, I have nothing against the environment.
In fact, I kinda like it.
But stuff like this makes me wants to park my Yukon XL in that spot.
Just to be a brat.
Such a mama.
She always talks about “When I’m bigger and I have a baby in my tummy…”
Poor O. She thinks he is her personal dolly.
As you can see, he’s thrilled by that.
“Mommy! Take a picture of me holding O-Bo!”
We spent Saturday at the beach.
Which is basically torture for me. I mean, it’s nice and all…if you could do away with the sand.
Give a baby a sticky strawberry at the beach?
I almost died. DIED.
It’s become a phobia. Just looking at this picture gives me the willies. Gah.
But the baby piggies? The BEST.
Cousin Nelle graduated from college last week.
She’s been a staple around here and my kids cannot get enough of her.
Her graduating is bittersweet. We are SO proud of her…but dang, we’re gonna miss her.
The kids wore shirts.
That I made the morning of.
And ran out of ink halfway through.
So I had to run to Walmart.
And finish just before it was time to leave.
Because that’s how I roll.
The backs of the shirts each had a different little saying.
Customized to each kid.
You should pin that. I think it’s pretty brilliant. ;)
Owen has a hard baby life.
It’s practically child abuse.
Also, I hate it when my bunting flaps in the wind.
(That sounds dirty. Ha! I’m totally gonna say that all the time now. Just wait and see.)
Jilly’s Land of Nod pillow came!
I’m so excited! The color is even more perfect than I remembered!
If you missed my series this week, I wrote about Home Safety. I realize it’s not the most exciting topic, but I do encourage you to check it out.
And then come back Monday to hear all about O-Bo’s hospital adventures. Little punk. It’s a good thing he’s cute. (And okay!)
