We’ve had Legos floating around our house for a few years now. (Many are Andy’s from when he was little!)
But the true fascination with building has only recently begun.
I step on Legos constantly.
My house is like a battlefield of colorful landmines.
I find Legos in every crevice and crack and corner of my home. No matter how often I holler for them to get picked up.
It gives me anxiety. CLUTTER. MESS. Always and everywhere.
But you know, finding my boy quietly building intricate boats and planes and whatevers…worth it.
I found this printable yesterday…I think I’ve printed about 20 of them so far. Both of the Bigs are loving them. Loving.
In the meantime, I also saw this great stop motion Lego video. I’ve seen lots of them, but this one is fun and I think you’ll like it too.
Enjoy!
My daughter is home sick playing with legos right now. I love building with them.

You crack me up! This is great! And yes legos make me cringe too… no doubt i step on one in the dark atleast weekly… legos and wooden blocks/train set pieces. You’re right though, they bring hours of entertainment during the waking hours! Great post my friend

There are few things (in the world of toys) that make me happier than sitting down to a big box of Legos. I can’t wait for my little to be big enough to play with me. Those MegaBlocks she has just aren’t the same!

<3 that video! Thanks for sharing.
legos are the best but stepping on legos is the worst pain ever! there are literally legos in every room of my house… and the car. i’ve learned to tread lightly and can now usually avoid the pain haha
Thanks for mentioning my LEGO Minifigure printable — I print several out each week for my son, too!
That video you embedded was done by a young man in our homeschool group. He is very talented, indeed!
Have a great rest of the week!
