custom, meaningful, & precious {giveaway}

If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you know that I cherish my family deeply.

And you know that I love words.

Pretty words.  Meaningful words.  Words that carry weight.

You know that I’m not real fancy, but I value quality.

So it should be no surprise that I’m a gigantically huge fan of all things Lisa Leonard Designs.

Her pieces are the perfect blend of organic, fun, classic, and simple.

And the fact that I can pick whatever words I want on them?

Be still my letter loving heart.

I wear my jumble of charms necklace just about everyday.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve put something else on, you know, to change things up…only to take it off and put this back on right before I head out the door.

I find myself constantly rubbing the charms between my fingers.  Especially if I’m missing my kids.

The bitty feet remind me of my continual good fortune, and of the sweet faces I’ll get to meet someday in Heaven.

When I first saw the open circle bracelet, I knew I had to have it.

Had. to.

I agonized over what to have stamped on it.  Agonized.

And then…when I made this little video…I knew precisely what I wanted it to say.

Crazy. Loud. Fun.

And the other side?

Love. Laugh. Family.

Because that’s us.  In a nutshell.

We are the loud neighbors.  We are the ones you will hear yelling.  We are the ones you will hear laughing hysterically.  We are the ones you will catch dancing in the kitchen.  And if you can’t hear us…well, we’re probably all piled on the couch cuddling and watching Transformers.  In full surround sound.  So I take that back…you’ll still hear SOMETHING coming from our house.

Always.

Reminders of Joy.  In the everyday.  In the mundane.  In the less than glamorous.

Because we are woefully imperfect.

We lose our tempers.

We have bad days.

Really bad days.

But they are beautifully bad days.

Always.

We’re a family.

Uniquely us.

Each one of us specifically hand picked by God.

We’re in the trenches together.

But dangit, we’re still together.

And you might think it’s cheesy, but Lisa’s designs remind me of all these things.

They are precious.  They are handmade.  They remind me to love when it’s the last thing I feel like doing.  The words etched into simple silver mean the world to me.  Because the people they represent are heavy on my heart.

Always.

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.

I really like the autumn song necklace, but it doesn’t have any words. If I were to choose something with words, I would like the custom magnets to say ask, discover, delight, brighten for my classroom.
