{Giveaway closed.}
I love Twitter.
I don’t spend much time there and do most of my twitter stuffs in the mornings while having it running in the background while I’m doing my blogging and email and such at 5am.
I accidentally left it up and running the other day and happened to see a tweet about The Twinery.
If they reached 5,000 likes/fans, they would be randomly selecting one of the 5,000 peeps who would win the grand prize of all FOURTEEN spools of twine (including three colors that weren’t even released at the time!).
I clicked over and was actually surprised I hadn’t already like their FB page.
I’ve long been a fan of their gorgeous twine. So I clicked like and moved on with my day.
I was #5,023. I don’t know why I remember that. I can’t remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.
It’s probably obvious by now, but um, I WON!
The grand prize!!!
FOURTEEN SPOOLS of rainbow happiness all bundled up in candy cane goodness of twine!
Giddy.
Did a little dance and even squealed like a schoolgirl.
You should have seen how fast I rushed over to find something to open the box when it came in the mail!
You’d think I was being chased by a wildebeest or something.
But no…just excited about my sunshine in a box.
Maraschino, Pink Sorbet, Blossom, Mandarin & Lemondrop.
(How fun would it be if your job was to name all the colors?!)
Buttercream, Peapod, Honeydew, Caribbean, & Denim.
Denim (again), Lilac, Stone, Charcoal, & Cappuccino.
I have to figure out a fun way to display it…in my kitchen.
This stuff’s way too pretty to sit in a drawer hidden.
When I emailed Nicole my address to send my winnings, I told her “You know, there’s no way I’ll be able to resist blogging about this…and actually, now that I think of it, would you mind if I hosted a giveaway for my readers when I do it? I know they’d LOVE it!”
Because, sweet readers, I do love you.
Plus, it’d be a little janky of me to just sit and write an entire post about how amazing my luck was and do nothing but brag about my ROY G. BIV fabulous and then end the post.
I think about y’all. Seriously.
Luckily, Nicole is a sweetheart and agreed to give away a Colorful Bunch Sampler Pack!
15 yards of twine in each of the original 11 colors!
Which is perfect for making this (first on my twine usage agenda).
So, how do you win? Let’s keep this one fairly easy. (I really dislike giveaways with 8,000 ways to enter.)
1. Leave me a comment in this post telling me what your favorite color twine is AND what color you think they should make next. (1 entry. Mandatory.)
2. Either subscribe to my blog, follow me on Twitter, or like my Facebook page. You can do all three but it’s still 1 entry. If you already do all 3 just leave a SEPARATE comment telling me you do. (1 entry. Un-mandatory.)
I’ll randomly select a winner on Monday, August 8.
Good luck!
You want to win. Seriously. This stuff is super fun.
Oh, and FYI, spools are on sale right now for $12 (normally $14).
{This is not a sponsored post. The story I told was totally true. I randomly won and was under no obligation to blog about it. }
I “liked” you on facebok!
I think my current favourite is honeydew! But I’d love to see a dark purple – that would be wonderful!
Thanks for sharing your luck with us!
Also liked you on Facebook! Thanks!
Following you on Twitter! Gotta win this one! :)
LUCKY DUCK!!!
Well, I love the aqua… and any of the pinks.
And I’m a fan of you on facebook…
I love pink Sobert and I really think some kind of neon colors would be super cool! I also followed u on twitter and facebook :) I have never used this product but they look like they would be amazing to use for crafting or for my nylon flowers that I make :)
LUCKY GIRL!!!!! Congrats! :) Hmmm, tough choice. My eye keeps going to the Carribean but I love grey so the Stone looks awesome. I think they should have a Lavender. I would love to see these in person, I don’t any of their twine yet. *Shame* LOL Thanks for the chance to win!!!
I am so jealous you won!!! I LOVE their twine. My favorite is Charcole. A deep purple would be a beautiful color for twine and they could call it “eggplant” :-)
My current favorite twine would have to be Honeydew. Love it! A salmon color would be so pretty! Thank you for the chance to win. :)
i love the pink sorbet twine! I’d have to say I’d love to see a really ‘bright’ purple colored twine.
love caribbean and maybe a color called setsail… a darker shade of blue : )

Just liked you on facebook, Two Prince Bakery Theater
Congrats on your win…that is awesome! Hard to choose one….I LOVE Mandarin and Honeydew…..so pretty! I’d love to see a few different multi-colored twines….like a boy theme, girl theme, etc.
I’m loving the pink sorbet right about now, but that could change tomorrow ;)! I think they should make a lime ricky version – lime green and purple… or even lime green and pink sorbet…. or turquoise and brown. I should stop now, but I totally would love to win this!
I like you on facebook :)!
I’m a new fan of your Facebook page
The Caribbean is my favorite. I think they need another shade of aqua. Aqua is my favorite!
I LOVE the pink sorbet. I would love to see bold bright colors. Oh, and I “liked” you on facebook, too. :-)
Though i haven’t seen any in of their twines person… i do like them… wish some day will have them all… :-)… wishful thinking :-)… i like the Caribbean color twine…
congrats on wining their entire collection !!
How fabulous for you!! I love Caribbean. I love the summery, vacationy color!!!
I can’t think of a color they don’t have!!! Love them all.
I liked you on facebook, but I don’t twitter!!
My favorite is Cappuccino, but I love them ALL. But I love brown, brown and browner! :) Liked your facebook page, and am glad to have been introduced to your blog via the Twinery this morning!
Maraschino – I love the red & white!!
i love the Maraschino…and would love to see a bright teal color!
I love the Maraschino. The Lemon Aid looks more like Orange in the picture, however if that is not the case then it would be nice to have an orange. If Lemon aid is an orange then a more yellow color would be a great future color.
i’m a facebook fan too!
My favorite was and still is,charcoal, although stone is a close second. I especially would like to see a glow-in -the -dark(is that a color?) version(especially with Halloween coming), or a version that changes color when exposed to sunlight-how fun would that be?
I “liked” you on FB & I am a blog & Twitter follower too.
I like you on Facebook, and am a follower of your blog.
I like you on facebook!!
Oh my word, you LUCKY girl!!!!! I love their twine! My favorite is Caribbean so I guess I’d like to see a darker one, maybe teal?

I like you on facebook!:)
I am lovin’ the carribean and the lemondrop!! There definitely needs to be a dark purple…like a plum!!
I like you on FB!
Omg COngratulations!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think my favourite is the cappuccino one. :D I think they should make one with a blend of TWO colours! LIke pink and brown! :D or turquoise and pink! :D FUN!
Either pink sorbet, blossom, or Caribbean.
A true lime would be great!
I like red and white twine. i’m imagining paper packages tied with this for christmas. Next, I think they need a navy and white one.
i think i already follow you on twitter. besides, i follow you in real life, does that count?
#2. done! :)
oh my….these bobbins of twine make me so happy!
honeydew is my favorite!
would love to see a navy blue….
Oh STINK! How lucky are you!!!!!! My favorite is Lilac, but seriously all of them make my heart beat faster! (I have loved baker’s twine for *years*…since back when only Martha sold it and it only came in red/white) And I love what your first project is going to be!!!! Now, what color should they make? Hmmm, something lighter than Cappuccino – a linen/khaki color.
