{Giveaway closed.}
I love Twitter.
I don’t spend much time there and do most of my twitter stuffs in the mornings while having it running in the background while I’m doing my blogging and email and such at 5am.
I accidentally left it up and running the other day and happened to see a tweet about The Twinery.
If they reached 5,000 likes/fans, they would be randomly selecting one of the 5,000 peeps who would win the grand prize of all FOURTEEN spools of twine (including three colors that weren’t even released at the time!).
I clicked over and was actually surprised I hadn’t already like their FB page.
I’ve long been a fan of their gorgeous twine. So I clicked like and moved on with my day.
I was #5,023. I don’t know why I remember that. I can’t remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.
It’s probably obvious by now, but um, I WON!
The grand prize!!!
FOURTEEN SPOOLS of rainbow happiness all bundled up in candy cane goodness of twine!
Giddy.
Did a little dance and even squealed like a schoolgirl.
You should have seen how fast I rushed over to find something to open the box when it came in the mail!
You’d think I was being chased by a wildebeest or something.
But no…just excited about my sunshine in a box.
Maraschino, Pink Sorbet, Blossom, Mandarin & Lemondrop.
(How fun would it be if your job was to name all the colors?!)
Buttercream, Peapod, Honeydew, Caribbean, & Denim.
Denim (again), Lilac, Stone, Charcoal, & Cappuccino.
I have to figure out a fun way to display it…in my kitchen.
This stuff’s way too pretty to sit in a drawer hidden.
When I emailed Nicole my address to send my winnings, I told her “You know, there’s no way I’ll be able to resist blogging about this…and actually, now that I think of it, would you mind if I hosted a giveaway for my readers when I do it? I know they’d LOVE it!”
Because, sweet readers, I do love you.
Plus, it’d be a little janky of me to just sit and write an entire post about how amazing my luck was and do nothing but brag about my ROY G. BIV fabulous and then end the post.
I think about y’all. Seriously.
Luckily, Nicole is a sweetheart and agreed to give away a Colorful Bunch Sampler Pack!
15 yards of twine in each of the original 11 colors!
Which is perfect for making this (first on my twine usage agenda).
So, how do you win? Let’s keep this one fairly easy. (I really dislike giveaways with 8,000 ways to enter.)
1. Leave me a comment in this post telling me what your favorite color twine is AND what color you think they should make next. (1 entry. Mandatory.)
2. Either subscribe to my blog, follow me on Twitter, or like my Facebook page. You can do all three but it’s still 1 entry. If you already do all 3 just leave a SEPARATE comment telling me you do. (1 entry. Un-mandatory.)
I’ll randomly select a winner on Monday, August 8.
Good luck!
You want to win. Seriously. This stuff is super fun.
Oh, and FYI, spools are on sale right now for $12 (normally $14).
{This is not a sponsored post. The story I told was totally true. I randomly won and was under no obligation to blog about it. }

OMG! You are so lucky!! I entered that drawing too and would have died if I won! :) I think my favorite color is pink sorbet and I think they need to come out with a baby blue and a baby/light purple. Thanks for hosting this great giveaway! :)
You are liked on your facebook page. :)
I like you on facebook too! :)
I love the Pink Sorbet and the Denium ones! I think they ought to make a sky blue one! That would be pretty!
My fav is the mandarin…I have a great love of orange! As far as what color next they have about every color with white as an accent I would love to see 2 colors together rather than a color and white for example… hot pink & mandarin together, or orange and black for Halloween, red & green for Christmas, etc.
I love Denim. I think a darker purple would be lovely… call it Eggplant? :) You sure are one lucky duck!
oh and I liked your fb page :)
I love the Caribbean blue twine! And I have no idea what a great new color would be.. the Twinery has it all! :)
I follow you on Twitter! xoxo
I love the Maraschino and I would love to see a darker purple, especially with Halloween coming :)

And a variegated for Halloween or fall would be fun!
Oh the lemondrop makes me so happy! I love all the colors. I can’t even think of a new color after looking at all that goodness. I hope I win!! :) I follow you on facebook…love it!
And I liked you on Facebook!
PS Congrats on your win and thanks to you and Twinery for giving us a chance to win :)
Honeydew and lemondrop are definitely my faves. Love those citrus colors! As an Aggie I’d have to say I hope they add a deep maroon to their colors :)
Hmmm. My FAV color would probably be HONEYDEW – L.O.V.E!!! Next on the list, I would love to see a SUNNY and BRIGHT yellow. That would be awesome :D
i love cappuccino color! but really all of them are great! i drool over twine!
i love “Pink Sorbet, Peapod, & Lilac =o)
i actually love all of them..
liked you on fb!
And I folllow you on Facebook and on Twitter. :D
I don’t know if I have a favorite, but I do know that the first colors I bought were Caribbean, Honeydew, Maraschino, and Cappuccino. I’d love to see mixes with another base color instead of white (you know grey w/ blue, grey w/ yellow, etc.). It would be too yummy to pass up!
Omgosh its so hard to choose which color is my favorite! I am on a bit of an aqua kick right now, so I think Ill have to go with Caribbean. I would love to see them make a coral colored twine!
Congratulations on winning! My favorite colors is the orange (mandarin) and red (Maraschino).
My two favorite colors are honeydew and mandarin, they are such fun summer colors!! I think they should make a sparkly twine for the Christmas holiday season.
Love the Marachino, how sweet :)
I also like you on FB, subscribe to your blog and now follow you on Twitter!
I also liked you on facebook!! Thanks for the chance to win.
I like you on Facebook and follow your blog in Google Reader!
Yay! I just ordered the Blossom and Honeydew for a project, but I think my favorite color is Caribbean! Rar! New colors?! Oh, so hard! Maybe a khaki or a another blue (0000ff) or purple? So fun!!
And liked you on fb!
I am in love with the Stone color! And it would be perfect if they could make a Carolina blue, so I could use their twine in even more of my projects!
I follow you on Twiter :)
I love the lilac color and I think they should make a glitter twine! Glitter is so in right now
Yes, you are right – I would LOVE to win this! :) Pink sorbet is my favorite and those little spool magnets that you are going to make are going to be soooo cute! I’m making a Anthropologie table right now and these would have been PERFECT. But instead I am twisting up strips of t-shirts. Seriously so bummed that I didn’t know about these before because they would be so much cuter (and faster)! I see another table project in my future. A line of darker colors would be great – dark purple, green, orange. Can’t wait to win these SERIOUSLY!!!!
