Regular Folks {Give Forward}

You know what I love about the internet?

Easy shopping.  Free shipping.  Handmade goodness.

But more than that…

It provides a platform for good.

Gone are the days where going door to door and bugging your neighbors during dinnertime are your only real option for fundraising.

Enter the days of the click of a mouse, the stroke of a key, and a heart of kindness can make a huge impact.

Ethan and Desiree, young, fresh faced pups (okay, they’re a year younger than me!) straight out of college had an idea.

A brilliant idea, I might add.  How come I didn’t think of it?

Provide a simple, easy to use system that people can use to fundraise.

For anything really…

But with a specific focus on helping everyday folks, people like you and me, raise money to help pay for medical expenses.

Because in case you didn’t know, even with health insurance coverage, medical bills can be quite hefty.

Not that I have a giant stack of them sitting next to me as I type know from experience or anything.

Ahem.

Out of this idea…one I would imagine some thought was naive and crazy…GiveForward was born.

I love that GiveForward has such a great story.

A simple one really.

Of regular people with big dreams and huge hearts.

Who prove that when you follow your dreams, care about others with a passion, and work really hard…you can help raise $4.5 million in just three short years.

I mean, really…

Rad doesn’t even begin to describe it.

GiveForward is free to set up, easy peasy to navigate and has fantastic customer service (trust me, I’ve called myself!).

Check them out and keep them in mind if you find yourself or a loved one needing some extra help.

Sometimes it isn’t about needing it right this second…but knowing about it for when you DO.

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.

This is such a great idea! Thanks for sharing :)

There are so many places where you can go and donate to people in need in developing countries (which is great because there are so many people in need in developing countries!) … but we quite often forget that people in our own backyards are also struggling. Its great to find a way to help them out too!!
