If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you know that my new obsession is Instagram.
It’s a free app that allows me to quickly snap a pic, add a fun filter, and share it. All in like 10 seconds.
(I used it for my chore chart, remember?)
The thing I love about it is that I can capture and share fun little moments that I otherwise wouldn’t have my bulky camera on hand for…or that I otherwise wouldn’t think to snap.
So, I thought that I’d share a few here on the bloggity blog in case you missed it.
Because, you know, I’m so crazy interesting, I know you don’t want to miss a SINGLE moment, right? Right.
I’m kidding. You know this, right? Good.
Anyhoo…it rained pretty hard like earlier this week. The natives were getting restless. Mama needed something different.
So, we decided to put those rainboots to use…because contrary to Lucy’s insistence, rainboots are more than just a fashion statement.
The kids tromped and splashed and squealed.
For the record, rainboots don’t do much good in keeping piggies dry when a certain someone, who shall remain nameless Lucy, decided THAT LYING DOWN FACE FIRST IN THE GUTTER WATER WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA.

Mama’s got a pair of rainboots too. Donned special for the occassion. But Jilly and I are delicate creatures, so we mostly hung out in the doorway while Thing 1 and Thing 2 hooted and hollered in the street.
A 3 year old and 1 year old playing in the street. Safety first folks…safety first.
And when they finally decided they were through, shivering and shaking, lips tinged blue…we stripped every soaking piece of clothing, dumped out half a gallon of water from each boot, and took a luxuriously warm shower.
Cozy Christmas jammies. Goofy socks. Lion King on the TV.
And hot cocoa for the gang.
And somehow an extra load of laundry for mama.
How is it that being the fun mom means you’re also the mom with more chores??? Boo. Someone really needs to change that law.

Is it for iphone or android? I have Vinette Demo on my android…and it kinda blows. Takes way to long to set up. fingers crossed instagram is in my market ;)
