You just *can*.
So, having yet another version of a baby chair is sorta like dipping a chocolate chip cookie in hot fudge. It can be too much a good thing.
Fast forward to baby #2…
…or in my case, babies #2 and #3.
Being able to set your baby down is a MUST.
Twin mamas feel this more accutely.
Regardless, I am loving our Bumbos.
They have such a small footprint that they can be used anywhere.
And for anything.
Sitting.
Eating.
My new favorite use for our Bumbo:
Some moms like to give their babies long, luxurious baths.
They bond.
They giggle.
Me?
Notsomuch.
In. Shampoo. Rinse. Out. Done.
I pretty much only bathe my kids as insurance against them being the stinky kid in class.
Come on, you all know you had that kid in class.
You probably even remember his name all these years later.
And yes, it was probably a him…because boys are gross.
I can say that because I have one.
Anyway, the point is that my Bumbos are rad.
I love them and I use them multiple times a day.
But buy it on Craigslist. There’s no need to pay full price for molded foam.

HAHAHAHA OK seriously? I HATE Bath time for the twins, yeah if they were in class they'd be the stinky ones cuz its so.much.dang.work!!! So share your exact secret, you stick em in the shower and??? I dunno how this would work for my boy, he falls over to one side in his bumbo already, if i lathered him up he'd prolly start to lean over and then slip right out haha! Ingenious!
I actually get in the shower with them. I fill the bottom of the Bumbo up with warm water so they don't freeze and I shower myself while they play with toys. Then, I take one at a time out of the Bumbo, wash them, rinse, put 'em back. Next baby. Then, I get out, wrap up in a robe real quick, and get them out and dressed. Many times Henry gets in too. So all four of us are showered in record time!
Oh Boy!!! ROTFLMBO! Great job! I may have to try this soon! Hubby will be thrilled to death that he doesn't have to watch the wondertwins while I go shower…hmmmm might have to re-think this heehee!
i really wanted a bumbo for lola but never found one cheap enough on craigslist. what's up with that?
and i'm feeling slightly (read:SUPER) jealous of your shower right now, just from that one picture. ours are soo small, and the one in the master bath is circular (yay for the 70's) and basically the size of an rv shower. so it's not so easy having baby in there.
Just loved this post… coming from SITS. Random, but are you going to Bloggy Boot Camp in Baltimore?
The stinky kid's name was Rochelle. Yes, a GIRL. And yeas, I still remember.
Kat-no not going to boot camp…why do you ask? just curious…
