Remember that photo contest we entered and you all so willingly voted for Henry in? Well, I opted to get a free photo session. I saved it until Henry turned one, and figured that we could sneak a few family pictures in there too (since we don’t have any!).

where were they taken? I think they are great poses, you guys look so sweet together. I also like whatever the photographer did to the color balance … but no pictures of Henry and Momma?

Jacquelyn-The pictures were taken at Cuesta Park in SLO. She took pictures that filled a 2 gig card, so there are MANY more…she just posts a few on her blog as a sneak peek…it usually takes a couple of weeks before the photos are ready for me to order.
Ok, so the pictures themselves are great. Great lighting, great location…and I actually like how I look in them (which is shocking because I HATE taking pictures)…but Andy’s smile looks soooo FAKE to me, and Henry’s hair looks bad. I waffled back and forth of whether or not I should put gel in it and comb it, but I thought that it would look too “done”, so I opted against it. But I think it just looks like, well, it looks like it needs brushed. Poop. Overall, I’m happy…but not ecstatic…the photographer did a great job…it’s US that is the problem! :)
