You’re getting old, it’s true. Twenty Seven. Ouch. That’s darn close to thirty. I know I’ll be 27 in only another month, but you’re still older than me. You always will be. Ha.
But you know what? I still love you, old man and all. We’ve dated since we were 17 and known each other even longer (15?). Kind of crazy, but I have to admit that it’s been fun essentially growing up together. And now, here we are, almost ten years later, a mom and dad. Wow. Whodathunk? Not me, that’s for sure. Okay, so I liked you. I thought you were pretty cute. Goofy, but cute. Never did I think we’d get married, move 200 miles from home, and have babies. Did you? Probably not.
Henry’s a lucky kid to have you as his old Pops. And I’m a lucky wife to have you as a husband. Hang in there, we have a lot more birthdays to celebrate, so don’t get bored yet!
you both are so young! happy birthday, andy. cute pics by the way.
Wow! Thanks for the trip down memory lane with the pictures! Wasn’t Andy the cutest baby? (until Henry, that is!) I think you’re both lucky to have each other with God in the middle. No way am I old enough to be the mom of a 27 year old, let alone a grandma!
Love you all – kiss Henry from Grandma.
Wow those are great–little Andy sunshine–what happened to that!!
Love,
Peg
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY! fun pictures! (and i find it kind of eerie that we’re all nearing 30…that used to seem old! Is it too early to have a mid-life crisis?)
Happy Birthday!!! Wish i could go up with mom and grandma this weekend but i have to work… im off all next week too for vacation but your working….. maybe if you have nothing planned i can come up next weekend like sat and sunday… or for the day sunday
Diana-
I’m throwing a baby shower next Saturday…but if you want to come and help and just hang out that would be fine…otherwise, you might want to pick another weekend? Call me and we can talk.
I took that picture of Andy in the suspenders! That is my old wicker furniture. You can see him planning his next move as he sits for the photo…
