How do I know what sized shirt to order?  Where’s a sizing chart when I need one?!

Are those different purples on the shirts?

Yes.  The men’s and youth shirts are more of a deep, royal purple and the women’s shirts are kind of a standard Crayola purple.  (Technical descriptions, right?)  It’s just that the shirts are made by different companies, and that’s the closest we could get it. No bigs.

How much of the T-Shirt that I’m buying is actually going to charity?

Well, that depends.  The more shirts we sell, the lower the price per shirt goes.  Also, the style of shirt you order plays a role (the women’s shirts are about a dollar more in cost).  But to give you an idea, the VERY LEAST each shirt sale would donate is $10.  The more shirts we order/sell, the cheaper the screen print cost…the more we get to donate!  Yay!  (In previous years, we got shirt prices down low enough that about $12 of every shirt was donated!)

How much of the wristband/tattoo is donated?

Wristbands offer up $1.60 in donations…and tattoos are $0.60 of donation “profit”!  Grab extras for family and friends!!!

So wait…when will I get my stuff?

T-shirt and band sales will be open through Monday, October 31st.  After that, I will place the bulk orders, wait the 7-10 business days for them to be printed/made, and then mail them out to you.  My intention is to have all orders shipped out so that you have them the second week of November.  So yes, you’ll have to be patient.  No Amazon 2-day Prime around here.  ;)

Why is shipping so much?

After much thought, I decided to ship everything USPS Flat Rate.  It keeps things simple for everyone and gives me more time to sell since it’s a 2-3 day ship time.  Especially if we sell a lot of product…I’ll need simple!  Flat rate shipping through the USPS is $5.05 per package…I’ve added a little more to cover ink and shipping label costs…anything left over and beyond my immediate costs will be donated to the fundraiser pot.  Chances are, most of that extra $0.95 of “handling” charges will end up being added to our donation totals, as it did last year.

How do I know you’re not just going to pocket the money?

I know, right?  Well, for starters, I’m just not shady like that.  But, since many of you don’t know me from Adam (and honestly, I really don’t even understand that saying), I’m planning on posting a screenshot/photo of my donation receipt and the sales record.

You could fake those pictures.

Well, not really.  Simply because my Photoshop skills are sub par.  Also, the whole ‘I’m not shady’ thing.  I get that the world is crazy and broken and there’s some messed up people out there who hide behind philanthropy to make a buck, but at some point you’ll have to believe that I really do suck at Photoshop.

I want to help more.  What can I do?

First of all, yay!  You can donate directly to our fundraising page HERE.  We are also heavily relying on social media sharing to spread the word.  Please blog about our fundraiser.  Tweet.  Facebook.  Pin the images to Pinterest.  Instagram.  ALL OF IT.  Tell your friends that the all the cool kids are going to be rocking purple on November 17.  Don’t let them be left out.  It’s the right thing to do.
