Hi Jeanette –
Question/Request for you. I **LOVE** the Jesse Advent Tree, and am following along at home, trying to find the ornaments as I go, which is proving to be a challenge.
Can you post where you found your ornaments if you remember…
Example – stump with at shoot of green, sheaf of wheat, tablet with writing – I’m totalyl struggling to find those, but you have them all!! And yes – I’m following the same devotional… so the ornaments are the same.
Much thanks!
Alison
It’s been great following the advent posts. I agree with the above poster – tutorial, por favor. I hope to do this with my daughter next year. Thank you – as usual, your blog is fun and informative!

Love doing the Jesse Advent Tree with my two daughters. First thing we do on Christmas morning, even before running downstaris to open presents, is read the Christmas day devotion. I actually have two sets of ornaments so both my girls will have a set when they are grown and on their own. Two years in a row 25 of my “mom’s group” friends each made 25 of one ornament that went with a day. Then we each handed out ours and received 24 ornaments to make our set. So much fun, an idea for those of you who like the Jesse Advent tree idea.
advent were something we never did, so fun to follow along! may be, in about10 years, when I’m a grandma, I can start a new tradition w/ advent calendars. :)
