Three sleepy, nap deprived, Christmas Burn Out, Visitors everyday, cuddle time with Daddy, watching Top Gun, piled on top of eachother.
Yes, Top Gun. Or as Henry calls it: “The Really Super Duper Fast Airplane Movie”. My girls like airplanes as much as their brother. And daddy.
There’s lots of scene skipping. No steamy make out sessions with a very very cute pre couch jumping Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis for the kidlets. Don’t call CPS just yet folks.
As opposed to me. “What are you DOING???!!! Why are you taking my picture????!!!”
“Because you couldn’t look more ridiculous. All bundled up like an old lady…texting…with an iPad in your lap. Smile!”

Ted’s dad introduced Top Gun in all it’s glory to our boys a couple of years ago. He got around the language by playing it in French. Ever heard Tom Cruise sing “You’ve Lost that Lovin Feeling” dubbed in French? Awesome. The boys didn’t care what was actually being said. They just loved the dogfights in the sky. Of course, that’s when all the cussing took place in the movie, too… Now we know a lot of bad words in French.
