Today I feel like someone chopped the top of my head off, scooped out my brain, blended it up, and then poured the moosh back in.
Which is basically, my ultra dramatic way of telling you that I have a headache. And it’s making me feel like puking. Rad.
So today’s post will be light on words, heavy on pictures.
Which is how grandmas prefer it anyway, right?
Kid #1: A little Greaser. His jacket is nothing more than a raincoat turned inside out, folded up and held with packing tape and some white paint on the back.
Kid #2: Red poodle skirt and a funky expression. (I made the girls’ skirts using this tutorial.)
Kid #3: Blue poodle skirt and piggies.
Okay kids! Line up! Mom needs a group picture! And…FAIL.
Okay, let’s try that on the firepalce…and….FAIL. (I have no idea what Henry has in his mouth, but it is in every photo taken at the house)
And now a family picture. FAIL. Good grief. Now I know why photographers charge what they do! This is impossible!!!
Finally, we head out. With these fun kids who were good sports to come hang out with a bunch of little kids. And me.
Lucy pretty much insisted on walking all by herself. Because she’s big now, you know.
And I had to include the next two photos. The first because Jill is insane and insists on making this goofy face whenever I pull out the camera.
And this one because this is what her hair looks like after we’ve put pigtails in it. And it makes me laugh.
Linking up again with SITS today! Woop woop!
LOVE love LOVE the family themed costumes! Coming to you from SITS Halloween Linky Parade!
Ahhh, you guys look GREAT! I can’t believe you even got Jill’s hair into pigtails – so cute – like two little paint brushes.
Hope you had a fun Halloween!

Thanks, Jeannett – and so sorry about your headache. I must have checked your blog 12 times today waiting for these pics! They are great, in spite of the lack of cooperation from your subjects.
I love the themed costumes, we did a theme this year too but my husband and I didn’t dress up. Your kids are adorable and cooperated for pics just like mine did… it’s impossible isn’t it??
Super cute pictures. Your kids have awesome eyes!

I was so happy to see you and the girls (missed seeing the boys). Yeah, the pictures are absolutely adorable and they are all adorable in real life, too. Loving the outfits. You are doing so great, Jeannett, and you look great. God is truly taking care of you and your brood, even in the midst of headaches and all that comes along. Thanks for the hug. love you
