Why hellllllooooo there!
So, here’s the deal:
I know there’s a lot of you out there.
Don’t think I don’t have Google Analytics installed.
You think you’re sneaky, eh?
Reading my blog, sneaking out the backdoor to meet your other blog boyfriend?
Yeah, well, this mama ain’t dumb.
She hears that screendoor slam shut behind the three inch stillettos you can hardly walk in…
Actually, I totally understand.
I stalk blogs too.
The reality is that I often don’t have time to comment, or I feel like I don’t have anything to say (shocking), or I don’t have both hands free to actually type!
BUT, if you are a blogger, you know what I mean when I say that COMMENTS MATTER.
Honestly, they. make. my. day.
So, take this as a virtual guest book. Complete with a goofy feathered pen. And two little girls standing there supervising.
Take a sec, comment here, say hello, introduce yourself.
It’d make my day.
For reals.
Then you won’t feel so guilty when you think you’re being all stealth.
‘Cuz you’re totally not.
Just so you know.
(credit for de-lurk idea goes to gypsy mama!)
I just found your blog and love it! Just wanted to say HI and that I understand about the comments! They make my day also!

i so appreciate what you are putting out there and the way you are bringing awareness to so many amazing causes through so many amazing people. life truly is always rearranged from what you want/hope/expect…and don’t i know it. i’d love for you to stop by my virtual home sometime and read a little of our journey through infertility and adoption. i know it’s different from your story, but in so many ways, i connect with your heart because of all the unexpected that has come your way, too.
many blessings to you and your little ones!!!

I am just making a comment. I too love comments. I have only been blogging for the last 3 years, but it has been a fun thing for me to do and also has helped me through some terrible times in my life. I too feel like my life has been rearranged. I added our blog, check it out anytime. I love your story.

I found your blog through Sarah Markley’s, her story touched my heart and I have come back a thousand times for her inspiration. I thought if she thought you were great that I would too, and I was right. Thank you for making the time to share your insight and your story. It is nice to know that there are other “regular” people who go through tough times too. Congratulations on a beautiful family.
Hello Jeanette,
Love, love, love your blog. Been stalking for too long and decided to comment. You are an awesome writer and I love how you make me feel what your feeling and don’t hold back. Good job. Also love this new concept with your blog. Awesome idea. Btw, your kids are adorable and I think you are an awesome mama.
I commented under our story- since well, I have a very similar “our story!!”
I just had my second little boy last week- he was healthy and birth trauma free and that in itself was such a miracle…enough to get me through these sleepless nights =) I look forward to reading your blog!

Hi there! This is my first time visiting your blog. A very good friend sent me the link to you blog tonight and I had to come and check it out! My friend was excited about sharing your blog with me because she saw that you blogged about living near the Barn. I live on the Central Coast too (in Santa Maria) and was so excited to find another blogger who lives in CA, much less here in this area! :) I love your blog and what you’re doing here. I’ll be following along now!
P.S. I have three kiddos, ages 4, 2 and 7 weeks and can totally relate to the “looks” people give you when going out in public. Most people have been pretty nice about things, but I still do get the “you must have your hands full” comment a lot!

I found your site through the pleated poppy blog. I like your premise and your blog mantra! Keep spreading the inspiration :)
Wow, I really have no words to describe this blog! So I guess I will start by saying, It is amazing, heart warming and addicting!
I guess I found this blog when Julie posted awhile back. I had read her story, and didn’t navigate around your site to really get the idea behind it.
Then I saw that Jess M. was a guest blogger over here so I clicked and last night I decided to click around some more. I am almost 8 months pregnant and lets just say, I could not hold back the tears!
This blog is such a great idea… will be following and can’t wait to hear the next story!!!

Found your blog from “the macs” blog. What an amazing journey you’ve been through. Praying your family will be blessed. You have 3 beautiful children.
Hi! I guess I am “de-lurking”, huh? I just read your story for the first time & saw you had twin daughters. I also have a twin sister. We just turned 29 last weekend! My sister was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when we were little & I remember her going to physical therapy & wearing braces in her shoes as we were growing up. But, you know what…you can’t even tell anymore! (at least, I can’t) I also had problems when I was a baby. I had hydrocephalus (fluid around the brain) & had a ventricular shunt put in at 11 months old. We both have been so blessed to never have any problems in our adult life. But, I don’t know how our mother survived all of that! Lots of faith in the Lord :) Me & my sister are best friends & nobody can ever replace the bond of a twin sister. Your girls will grow up to love each other so much (and, yes, fight over lots of clothes). Me & my sister both got pregnant last year 2 months apart after both struggling to get pregnant for a long time. And, we both have BOYS now! My mom is in heaven! It’s like having twins all over again…almost. I got to meet her baby for the first time last weekend & she got to meet mine.
Okay, I guess I’m done rambling on! Wish you all the best with your beautiful babies!
<3 Bonnie

No lurking but not tech savvy enough I guess and God knows I don’t need more things coming to my email so de-lurking is fine with me.I prefer to think of my viewing a blog as “pop ins” pamela pop ins…..
HA Ha! This is funny. So i must comment. Found your website through another-through another :) Enjoy reading about your family-your what nots-and the guest blogs. You have a beautiful family. I hope to too someday-and hearing all these mothers who CAN do it make me feel all the more postive that I will be able to as well.
happy blogging, Stephanie
I absolutely love what you are doing with this site. As someone who has had some serious rearrangment – these stories give me such hope. Thanks for doing this!
So does it count if I am a new lurk? :) A friend sent me your link a week or so ago and I just love what you are doing. So I’m officially coming out of the stalk closet… ;)

Hey, I just found you via Jess McClenahan’s blog. I loved reading your story of God’s faithfulness to you and your family through the unexpected turns of life. As I was telling someone not long ago, “Yes, it’s scary (life) but… scary like a roller coaster, not like free-falling because we know we are attached to the track. And He is good.”
Grace and peace be yours in abundance.
Hello there! I stumbled across your blog not too long ago and fell in love with it. I love the idea of taking whatever comes and giving glory to the Lord, even in darkness. Thank you for your honest words and wonderful guest bloggers. You are a blessing.
De-lurking!!! : )
J-nette. I love reading your blog. I’ve been a long time follower and still can’t figure how you have the time. You are a supermom and make me look really bad. But movng on, your blog has inspired me in two tangible way recently: 1) I bought a moby and love it; and 2) I bought orca ice trays to make Noah’s baby food and love them. We’ll be cruising down to slo sometime this summer and I would really like to see you and the babieeees! I’ll let you know as soon as we have dates set.
Ive been lurking for a few weeks and thought I would say hi. I’m a 27 year old mum of two boys (3 and 2). We live in Australia. I love checking out your blog, so keep writing :)

Hi…I’m officially delurking :) I just found your blog…actually I’m new to this whole idea of bloggin (I know…I’m showing my age here). I found you through Meg…went to school with her back in the “old days”. Really enjoying reading all you guys have to say…puts perspective on my life. I have recently been “re-arranged”…Ya, that whole life plan of mine…changed forever. That’s OK! I’m thankful I have God as my foundation and thankful I trust Him with my life. Can’t wait to read more…
I just found your blog. I liked this idea so much that I just had to say “Hello!”

Just came across your blog…LOVE it!!!
Hey Jeannett! Love your blog and just wanted to say hi. :)
Hi Jeannett! Nancy asks me all the time if I read your blog, and I’m like, “I have no idea where to find her blog.” But I happened to see her link when I was checking my email at their house this weekend.
Your kids are adorable and I’m so glad that you guys are doing so well despite the things being thrown your way. You have an admirable attitude, to say the least.
Tell Andy hi from Daniel and I!
Love the de-lurk idea! Might just try it out myself.
Didn’t do too much lurking, but was checking out your chocolate peanut butter pie recipe someone linked to on twitter today. Looks delicious!

Hi…I’ve commented before…on your old blog…then I followed you here, but had yet to comment or give until TODAY!! Yay for the blessings God has given! :) So I think it’s official…I have “de-lurked”! :P
I got to you from The Pleated Poppy and I think I just may stay a while.
Found you today from The Pleated Poppy. Your rearranged story sounds so much like our own. Young, married, hoping for a few kids, then boom, heart defect. Our daughter was born with HLHS – she was missing the left side of her heart. We are all too familiar with heart defects and surgery and the ramifications of it all. If you want to, the “hers” page on my blog is everything you’d ever want to know about her journey so far. Anyway, you said de-lurk so there – we’re all caught up now =)
Your featured bloggers posts are such an awesome idea! I got pulled in from We are THAT Family, and I read through more of them. Such a good way to help raise money for charity!
Delurking! Thanks for the inspiration!
Wow. I just found your blog through Mique at 30 days and I just love what you are doing. You are amazing.
Great site! I’m enjoying reading what you are writing and the humor you bring to it! :) your children are beautiful!
