Why hellllllooooo there!
So, here’s the deal:
I know there’s a lot of you out there.
Don’t think I don’t have Google Analytics installed.
You think you’re sneaky, eh?
Reading my blog, sneaking out the backdoor to meet your other blog boyfriend?
Yeah, well, this mama ain’t dumb.
She hears that screendoor slam shut behind the three inch stillettos you can hardly walk in…
Actually, I totally understand.
I stalk blogs too.
The reality is that I often don’t have time to comment, or I feel like I don’t have anything to say (shocking), or I don’t have both hands free to actually type!
BUT, if you are a blogger, you know what I mean when I say that COMMENTS MATTER.
Honestly, they. make. my. day.
So, take this as a virtual guest book. Complete with a goofy feathered pen. And two little girls standing there supervising.
Take a sec, comment here, say hello, introduce yourself.
It’d make my day.
For reals.
Then you won’t feel so guilty when you think you’re being all stealth.
‘Cuz you’re totally not.
Just so you know.
(credit for de-lurk idea goes to gypsy mama!)
Just testing the comments!
Well if there’s a feathered pen…
I’m Elyse and I read your blog (but I’m pretty sure you already knew that since I am part of the big crazy side of the family and nothing is a secret there.)
I love the new site and the new direction!
But really, I’m just signing this for the feathered pen.
Hi Jeannett.
I found your blog last summer when I was reading an expecting twin website trying to prepare myself for the craziness that was about to be my life. You had made a comment about a custom diaper bag you ordered, and somehow it led me to your blog. (seriously, how hard is it to make cute ones?!)
Once I arrived I could hardly believe what I was reading…it was like reading my own story. I also have a 2 year old son…with a heart condition (SVT) and is going to need surgery, I have twin girls and carried them to 38 weeks (born in October). When I saw how big Lucy and Jill were I thought wow…poor girl. Well, god laughed at me and my girls were 8lbs and 8.8lbs…I set a record at my hospital for the biggest twins ever born. Ouch!
Anyway, I do feel a bit like a stalker but love reading your blog. I love reading about the kids and your adventures with them (both the good and bad because I can identify with both), your design and party entries are fun too, you have turned me some great websites, fun ideas and in general have made me laugh!
Congratulations on your new blog, I think it is a fantastic way to help the little parts of the world we all touch! I will continue to read/stalk and look forward to seeing what you cook up next!
All the best!!
lol, this is probably the best de-lurking post ever. Yay for Google Analytics!! ;-p There, I’ve left my comment and I’m walkin’ away in my comfy Dansko clogs (sorry, its just not a stiletto kinda day).
I’ve been following your blog since right about the time you were pregnant with the twins. My friend Christine linked to your blog and once I started reading your blog I was hooked. I do feel like your stalker because I don’t know you, I have never even met you, but I feel like in a way I do know you, because you let me into your life with the wonderful way you write and the pictures you post of your family. Your joys make me happy, and your sadness makes me sad. Keep on doing what you do, and I’ll try to comment more often. =)
Hi Jeannett,
Random blog stalker here. Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your blog. Our lives are very different, but I always get a kick out of your commentary. Thanks so much for sharing. Love the new design!
Jeanette,
I have missed the blogosphere for awhile and found your new blog through Carrie’s posting on fb! Happy to see all the new design; I need techno help! Know anyone?
I just found your blog like 5 minutes ago and I’m already in love. One of my best friends and I were just talking about this last night. This giving & serving when it’s hard & uncomfortable. It’s something I’ve always challenged myself to do but lately I feel like I need to step it up even more. Thank you for this blog! I look forward to reading more later but for now I need to go bookmark you on my iGoogle page. :)
Just wanted to let you know I love your site and the idea of life being rearranged! Life never does turn out how we think does it? I know I felt that way when I got cancer at age 26 two months after the birth of my son!!!! But Praise the Lord I am cancer free!!
Keep up the good work!
Jessica
Hi! I’m Lesli, and I’ve been reading you for a couple of weeks. Love your blog! It’s fun to read about another twin mom’s experiences. Mine are 27 months now and it’s an adventure. Keep it up!
I just found your blog from Lindsey Cheney (I love her posey pins) and thought I’d send you a message. I am such a lurker and LOVE reading blogs! I am a SAHM to 3 kids (Ellie-12, Anna-9 & Ross-5) where we live in a very small town in Ohio. My blog “journey” started when I read about a scrapbooking blog in Creating Keepsakes magazine and the rest is history! Thanks for all you do!
I’m not sure how I stumbled across your blog, but I’m glad I did! Been reading your blog for awhile now, recently began commenting, just getting used to the whole blogging thing. I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter (Torah). Enjoy reading your blog b/c of your honesty and straight forwardness! I’m really enjoying the new blog and your new concept, think it’s a great thing!
Hi, I just found your blog and as I was on my way out after reading a few things (and loving them) I stumbled on this de-lurk post and had to smile…and comment. I was about to head out the back door when I know better. I’m a blogger too and I really love to get comments. Unfortunately, many people don’t comment. I am looking forward to poking around on your site some more tonight. I plan on grabbing your button too since I have my own special needs child and am a huge supporter of causes. If you get a chance hop on over to Moxie Momma. You can read about my son, Jacob, on my Tic Dock page. I think what you are doing is phenomenal by the way.
I’ll be back very soon!
Believe,
Michelle
Hello! I just found your blog through a Twitter update from the Encourage folks. I loved what I read and will definitely be back.
Blessings to you and yours!
Karen
Hi there! I’m just stopping by from Turkey, but of course you already knew that ;) I found your blog through another blog. Isn’t blog-hopping fun? I could just click all day :) I love what you’re doing, what a great idea! And you have a beautiful family!
Charity
Wow – this is really cool. My tagline (borrowed from John Lennon) on my blog is “Life is what happens when you’re making other plans.”
I love your blog. I love your concept. Very close to home for me!
I just finished writing a few days back about “Reality vs. The Dream” and how I choose reality, despite it’s warts.
Via @LisaLeonard on Twitter – glad she’s guest posting! And I’m not lurking. I have Google Analytics on my blog, too.
Hi! I came across your blog tonight from Lisa Leonard’s blog. Since I’m new to your blog, I’d just go ahead and let you know who I am instead of being a ‘stalker.’ haha I’m single, live in Ala and going back for my second degree in nursing. I love what you have written and what you do. Therefore, I’ll be a regular. :)
De-lurking! I stumbled across your blog about a week or so ago….and wow!…I am truly touched by what you are doing! Seeing God at work through amazing people like you just makes me smile….He really is AWESOME!
Just found your blog for the first time and am de-lurking right away! :) Just another mama, but I’m living in Washington State, navigating adoption and motherhood, loving my husband, my job– my life!
Came from SITS to say hi, and hope you’re having a great Monday
Hi, I came here from joyshope. Fun blog! I like your style and your purpose. Thanks for all you do. I am a mama of two boys 4 and 1 1/2 living in sunny South Florida.
Ha, ha! I love it, I used to blog stalk only but now I am a real live commenter and love it. :) This is the second time I have been linked here from somewhere else, now I’m going to check you out for real and start reading the archives. Glad I found this spot!
Love your de-lurking link idea! I came to your blog today via Joyshope. Love it, I just read your story and it’s amazing. I love thinking of our lives as REarranged. I’ll be back to visit again! Thanks for sharing, you are right, we all have a story.
I found your blog through Joys hope and loved the title. I poured a strong cup of coffee and started reading. I am a pediatric ICU Rn from San francisco and live your life, but from the hospital side. I know what you have gone through in some respects), because I take care of children with similar conditions. For 23 years. I have held hands, soothed souls and been there for families of critically ill children. It is my passion!!!! I am also a new blogger. Check me out at gratitudewithgrace.wordpress.com.
I am in the business of recognizing RNs for all the hard work they do. I am sure you might have a story or two to share with me.
YOUR story is an inspiration to many, so keep writing, keep getting up each day and spread some joy to those who need it!!! Best Shauna
I turned to your blog from another blog that I stalk.lol Joy’s Hope. I am really enjoying reading the blog. Thank you for sharing. Sometimes in life you feel like you are the only one having difficult times and reading someone elses story helps you cope.
Thanks again,
Julie
Got here via Joy’s Hope and have been reading in bits and pieces since this morning. Your dating/marriage story is so similar to mine and my husband’s it made me laugh and I totally identify with the growing up together. Love it. Just wanted to say hi. Your kids are precious and beautiful and I have been reading about Jill especially (seeing as we share a name and all). I appreciate how you keep it real. Just wanted to let you know I’m reading. And I care. And I will pray for you and your family. I hope to lurk around more later. Although now that I have “de-lurked” myself, I guess it is more just catching up. :)
Hi Jeanett!
Like some of the previous commenters, I came here from Joy’s Hope. I read some yesterday and caught up on the rest of your story today. I’m loving your blog!
Just so you know, my first born was three weeks early and his name is Henry too! :) He’s six and a half now.
Our lives were recently ‘rearranged’ when we had a house fire and had to move into my husband’s parent’s house with our three kids. During that time we also lost our ten year old dog. And my mother-in-law was diagnosed with cancer. And my husband quit his job and started a new one. :) Quite the rearrangement, but it’s all for the good. It’s amazing what God can do with what the enemy means for evil. We’ve been back in our house for about a month now and all I can do is praise God for how he worked it all out!
Anyway, just wanted to stop in and say hi. Hope you’re having a great week!
Lisa
that was hilarious!
just stopped by via julie’s blog…
came through Joy as well…off to make supper for my boys but will stop back to comment away; I’ve spent too much time reading! love your blog; love the idea of giving back. super stoked and sad i just *now* discovered it! glad to blog meet you! :)
Oh this made me laugh so hard. I really needed this laugh on a lovely Thursday morning.
God Bless!
I don’t even know how I found you, but I am thrilled that I did. What an interesting concept for a blog. My daughter and I share a blog (I have a lot more time than she does) but it has been a precious thing for both of us and has further deepened our relationship. Perhaps sometime we could share a guest blog. I am a middle aged woman who raised four very less than perfect children who all survived to adulthood despite the fact that they had two very less than perfect parents! Check us out….and let us know what you think. Blessings
I found your blog from Miss Mustard Seeds bloglist. Blog Names Matter. Who can resist just peeking to see what “Life Rearranged” might be about. I have a child with autism so I know a bit about rearranging life….like your blog and your humor. Good job!
If you have any comments about what the heck to do with my living room with 3 windows and 2 doorways and one built-in and a fish tank would love to hear what you might suggest…

Delurking to say…I ***heart*** your blog. Truly. So grateful that I found it through Kelle Hampton’s blog…how awesome is this?!

Hi!
I’m Kim. I live in Canada. Don’t have any kids (yet). I came over here from Kelle Hampton’s blog and really enjoyed reading the story of how you and your husband met. :)
I added you to my blog feeds and will surely be coming over here very once in a while!
Hi. My name’s Cary and I found you via Kelle’s blog. Love the concept of your blog and just read your “story”. Can’t wait to read more!
I too have twins. They’re 2 1/2. Born at 30 weeks. My sweet Ben was diagnosed with CP just after his first birthday. That sure rearranged our life. I blog about it at http://aboutthesmallstuff.blogpost.com
.-= Cary´s last blog ..Random =-.
I have triplets…two of whom have Cerebral Palsy…what a delight to find another mom (and blogger) who is on this journey! You can check out my blog as well! I’d love to “see” you there!
De-Lurk! Love it! I found your site through Kelle Hampton’s.
I have a 3 1/2 daughter (who has Down syndrome) and a 1 1/2 year old son (who has an attitude! ha!).
Great blog. Can’t wait to look around more!
So, I am totally a blog stalker. Guilty as charged.
Totally loved reading your blog and appreciate your sharing your story and humor. Love that you are raising money for charity too.
Linked onto your site via Kelle Hampton today. Love the look! I was totally curious about what de-lurk meant and after reading your description I feel compelled to say Hello.
I’m just a mom of 2 girls, living in Canada and I am inspired by many other moms. Blogging is fairly new to me, but it combines my love of taking photos, journalling and keeping memories for my girls. I no longer have the time to scrapbook it all!
I might just hang out on your blog a bit longer. I’m pretty sure that I will find lots more inspiration by doing so!
Thanks for what you do!
Hopped over here from Kelle’s site. I love the concept of your blog. I am a big believer in helping others, because no matter how bad it seems we have it, there is always someone else worse off. I’ll be back!
Hi. I, too, came over from Kelle Hampton’s blog. I love this section. What you wrote describes me exactly – I am total blog lurker and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve posted to all the blogs I read. In total. I have bookmarked your blog and will check it every day. Reading about you and your family lightens my day. Thanks for sharing with us!!
I saw the link to you blog on Kelle’s blog, and just wanted to say I think that what you are doing is wonderful! Kelle’s blog made me realize that every moment matters and just reading very few of your post made my not going so great morning!
