What on EARTH is this site all about? I don’t get it.
Seriously. :) Okay, in a super quick nutshell, this blog is my personal blog. I talk about my family, my life, my struggles, my laughs. BUT, it doesn’t stop there! I also believe that we can band together and through sharing one another’s hurts, joys, struggles, and dreams…guest bloggers will lend their voice. Three times a year, I will select a topic/theme (for example infant loss/miscarriage) and a variety of bloggers will tell their story. We will laugh with them and cry with them and Glorify with them. In turn, we will also host a fundraiser for a related cause. The idea is that even $1 from each reader can make a HUGE difference. Your little plus my little can equal one great BIG.
How do you choose the charities?
I try to choose charities/causes that are applicable to the main topic. There really isn’t a science behind it, and often I will poll my guest bloggers and see if there is a charity they would like to highlight.
Why should I give money to YOU?
Well, first off, it’s not to me. It’s to the charity. :) And really, you don’t have to give money through this site or group’s efforts. I just want to urge you to give. Even if it’s just a tiny bit. You can do it through any venue, I just wanted to give readers an easy way to give, and expose them to the amazing bloggers out there who have incredible stories. The blogging community is amazing. This is just another way we can work together and glorify God’s name.
Jeannett. Have you been living under a rock the last few years?! Are you not aware of the economy? I don’t have any money to give! But it’s a great idea! I hope you raise a ton!
Don’t lie. You know the thought crossed your mind. ‘Cuz it’s totally crossed my mind a million times the last few years. Read this post. Maybe it’ll help. :)
But the basic idea: don’t be overwhelmed. Give tiny amounts. $1.00. $5.00. It’s not about the amount you give, it’s about the heart condition.

How is the money collected? How do I know this is all legit?
I will *never* see any of the money personally. It will all be donated through Paypal or GiveForward. I do not handle the money, nor do I get a cut or any other such thing. I simply host the fundraiser and am the little cheerleader behind it.

A fantastic way to help is by spreading the word. You can do this by grabbing my button (it’s in the sidebar of my blog), by tweeting, facebooking, blogging about it. Word of mouth is how we’re really gonna raise some cold, hard, cash for these amazing charities. Encourage your friends and family to come check out the site. Together we can make this work!
