Instagram is my favorite.
And while I love the quick quips we post under each photo, I also love sharing the stories behind them. Every week we do just that.

She made it very clear to me, in her own Jilly way, that she wanted to ride.
I don’t know why it had never occurred to me to push her around on a board. But I did. And she giggled the whole time.
The good news is she loves it. The bad news is she now basically expects me to push her around all day every day.
Just. One.
(If you don’t know the reference, watch this. You’re welcome.)
So many things I could say about this.
But I’ll just let you gaze upon the amazingness of the Porkchop bedhead, midriff, stuffed lion trifecta.
Oh friends.
Andy almost wet himself laughing when we realized that my Christmas tree…the one dripping in five boxes of tinsel…the one I lauded in all it’s gaudy glory…would have to be de-tinseled in order for the City to haul it away.
I almost cried. Like, truly.
Luckily, and surprisingly, the shop vac made tinsel removal pretty painless. It only ended up taking about a half hour, and Andy and I agreed that the extra step was still worth the twinkling magic when the light bounced off the silver strands at night.
TINSEL FOREVER!!!!
(Get ready, it’s totally gonna be all over Pinterest next year.)
Handmade leather moccasins for a sweet friend made me realize I need to order a pair of the Platinum for Jill.
Her braces won’t fit in them, but she can wear them around the house.
Pretty sure golden metallic moccs are a Need. Right?
I snuck out to have wine with three of my favorite girls (who I’m lucky enough to count as family).
We had wine and honey and mint infused goat cheese.
It was a super grown up thing to do.
I kept waiting for someone to kick me out.
And last, but not least, is more Porkchop antics.
Honestly, I think all of my kids bit holes in their foam toys…and probably all kids do.
The difference here is the ATTITUDE.
This is classic O-Bo.
Classic.
How about you? How was your week? Who’s gonna be linking up regularly in 2014?! :)
I haven’t linked up in forever, maybe rejoining InstaFridays will be part of my NY resolutions.
& can I tell you I seriously don’t need to go to the nail salon now after watching that clip! Exact experience I get every time!

So maybe it is a regional thing, but I always called that silver stuff “icicles” and tinsel is the shiny stuff that is like a rope.
Either way it is super pretty and fun! Regardless of the mess it makes!

Those moccasins are the cutest things I’ve ever seen aside from a chubby toddler on a stuffed tiger…of course!
