Holiday Cards from Minted {giveaway}

I don’t send out Christmas cards every year mainly because I often don’t have that perfect Christmas card worthy family photo.

Which is really silly because there are no rules when it comes to these things.

And honestly, I’ve found that the years I don’t send out cards, I GET fewer cards…and then I’m kinda bummed out.  Because I looooove getting Christmas cards and watching my display grow as the days go on.

So this year, I resolved that I would have family photos taken AND I would send out cards.

Because it’s fun.  And traditional.  And I’m a sucker for tradition.

Now, if you know me at all, you know I love paper.  Pretty stationary.  Vibrant colors.

In fact, I have lots and lots of gorgeous stationary…that I’m kinda terrified to actually use.  Because I might waste it.  So I hoard it instead.  Which is super logical.  Obviously.  (I also do this with glitter.  And stickers.)

Anyway…

You probably realize that the choices for getting holiday cards printed are overwhelming.  There are lots of companies who do it, but if you’re like me, you’re picky.

After all, I paid good money to get professional photos done.  I want the colors to be spot on (the first set of baby announcements I got back from the girls’ birth were horrid.  The colors were so bad my girls looked severely jaundiced.).

I want good design.

I want nice weight paper.

Because seriously, if I’m taking out the time to do cards, I want them done right.

Enter Minted.

paper_comparison

That’s 50 cards on Minted’s signature paper, versus 50 cards of the competition.

I could stop my post now.

Sold.

If you’re a real baller, you can even order double thick and TRIPLE thick.

But you want to know what’s my favorite part of Minted?

family minted

You can upload your picture and it gives you a preview on each of their card designs so you can see at a glance what your card would look like!!!

This is huge.

Once you choose a design, you can move all the elements around a bit in case words are cutting across someone’s face, and you can personalize it and see the preview right then and there.

minted backers

For a little more, you can add a backer.

It can be a solid pattern, a full on This-Is-What-We-Did-This-Year letter, or even more pictures.

I opted for more pictures.

Because settling for only two from our photo shoot just couldn’t be done.

RECIPIENT ADDRESSING

If you weren’t sold on Minted by now, might I add that they will address your envelopes FOR FREE?

Minted, will you marry me?

Holiday cards are the obvious feature this time of year, but they also have a variety of products…

(I over the moon adore this design!  EEK!)

nursery art

And pretty art prints you can frame and hang.

Not to mention calendars and even party decor (think bunting, banners, cupcake flags, etc.)

Are you in love?

How could you NOT be?!

Minted is currently offering a Black Friday sale (ends today!!!) of 20% off holiday cards of $150 or more, or 15% off orders of $100 or more.

NOTE: You can buy now, upload later.  So if you want to get the deal, but don’t have that “perfect” family photo quite yet, you can still get the reduced price today and just finish up later.  Genius.

In the meantime, I get to give away a $100 shop credit to Minted to one lucky Life Rearranged reader!!!!

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.
