Pulling up this week’s instas, it seems that the Porkchop is the star of the show.
With school having officially started this week, everyone seems to be coming and going. Next week, I’ll get some of the others. You know, so they don’t need therapy.
Because someone will inevitably sit down 10 years from now and count instas. I just know it.

99.9% of Owen’s clothes are hand me downs from Henry.

A mug. A water cup. Lip gloss. Handmade soaps. Postcards. Washi. And even a Lisa Leonard necklace.

But I love you. (even before the swap…but still.)

Our chickens have finally started laying!
There was some SERIOUS cheering and hoopin’ and hollerin’ around here at that first little egg.
Snow White is our champion egg layer. The others aren’t quite up to one a day, but she is.
Lucy’s chicken. Because of course.
Oh my heart.
This girl.
As she gets older, she is toning down and there is a maturity there, hidden under those wild curls and those bruised up limbs…always the helper. The mama. The lover.
It’s not that I don’t love her to millions of pieces now…but I cannot wait to hang out with her when she’s an adult. It’s gonna be awesome.
Um, I’m stressed out.
First grade. That’s like KID territory.
Not baby. Not toddler. Not little kid. But like…actual, full fledged Kid status.
I do not like it Sam I am.
(But, he’s awful cute. Albeit annoyed with Picture Taking Mama. And looking pretty legit in his skater gear. I took him with me shopping, and he had Opinions. Oy.)
And now for the #NaughtyPorkchop Show.
My sister and her family came over last week.
He crawled right in with 5 week old Baby Autumn.
I mean, what could go wrong?
(P.S. they are exactly one year apart. Same birthdays!)

He has discovered that you can chuck things from the second story landing.
Not drop. Full on CHUCK.
And it makes a loud noise.
All manner of EVERYTHING finds its way down.
The other day, I caught my phone mid air on it’s way out of his fat little hand.
And he thinks it’s just fantastic.
We used to have baby latches on all of our cabinets. But when we painted them, we didn’t feel the need to put them back because by then, the girls were a little older and frankly, didn’t find much interest in the contents.
Now?
Ohmyword.
101 Cookie Cutter sets. ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY.
Also, the kid is always missing at least one piece of clothing.
And I think it’s outstanding.
Live baby.
6 year old brother.
Totally safe.
Peals of laughter bouncing off the walls.
That’s full scale running.
Because why would we walk?
And then I wonder why I spend a small fortune in band aids and ER visits…
This was my all time favorite shirt when Henry was a babe.
I put it on him every chance I got.
Now Owen wears it every chance I get.

I can’t see the links either but what a busy house you have! I’m sure you were, but be careful with the little baby. My 4 year old nephew dropped his 3 week old sis out of her pack n play the other day and she got hurt. Enjoy your weekend!
