Ha!

So I was piddling around this morning, lying in bed and being all lazy like…I forgot it was Friday!

But I’m here…even though this last week went by ridiculously fast for some reason.

It was a simple, normal week.  My favorite.

Henry’s school had superhero day.

I’m pretty sure he looked the best.  But I might be biased.

And if you STILL need some help, come over, we’ll have a couple glasses of wine, and laugh until our cheeks hurt and eyes are watering. Pretty sure of it.)

FYI: dishtowels and chip clips make fabulous bibs.

I highly recommend it.

Because I’m a glutton for punishment, I’m in the middle of another project which I’ll share in a week or two when it’s done.

I’m not even spray painting anything (I don’t think), but I still bought two cans.

Which included this great new color.  Now I want to spray paint ALL THE THINGS.

I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese.

And I put the baby on the floor.

I’m a rebel.

Truthfully, CEC is probably one of my least favorite places on earth.

BUT.  We pulled up to the building and this girl…oh this girl…started screaming and kicking and clapping and yelling YAAAAYYYYYYYYY.

Girlfriend owned the place.

And it was actually kinda pleasant when you go in the middle of the day midweek.  There were only two other families there so my kids pretty much had run of the joint.

I might even go back.

Irony: Lucy loooooooves puzzles.  Does them all day long.

Me?  I’d rather clean my bathroom or fold laundry.

But the other day they were all playing quietly.  The Bigs doing puzzles and Jill playing with her Tag Reader.

I felt I had to capture the moment.  It may never happen again.

I spent all day Wednesday deeeeeeep cleaning my house.  I spent almost 3 hours on the kitchen alone.

So when Andy came home and said he was craving Red Robin for dinner, I was more than happy to not mess my kitchen again so soon.

Jill picked up the drink menu and perused it so seriously.  Even going “hmmmmmm…..”

Kid cracks me up.

We had company last night.  I made Pasta e Fagioli and somehow managed to dirty every dish and pot in my house.

Clean up wasn’t the funnest, but we had a great day visiting.

Totally worth it.
