The camera I always have in my pocket seems to capture some of my favorite pictures.
Everyday moments are so easy to forget. Yet they tell the best stories.
(I’m jeannettg on Instagram if you want to follow.)
On Saturday, we hauled the kids to the California Science Center to pay a visit to my friend, Endeavour.
The boys were in hog heaven, but Lucy…well, she was none too interested in the “giant thing”.
It was fun for me to see where she ended up. Given our history and all.
On the other end of this giant lever was a full sized Toyota Tundra that you could lift. You know, while holding a baby in your arms no less.
I really love this picture. And my family. They’re pretty awesome.
And then on Sunday (and Monday!) we went to Disneyland.
Jill is too short for the Radiator Springs Racers ride, so I usually pop open her walker and let her wander around while we wait for Daddy and the Bigs to get their race on.
I love this kid. She just owns it.
We had some time to burn so we posed with Lightening himself.
Girlfriend was enamored.
She kept petting the car and wanting to babble to it.
And really, do you SEE that face?!
Speaking of faces…sigh…
Why is it that boys get the best lashes???
And why can’t he stay this bitty forever???
Star Tours in one of my favorite rides.
Star Tours with this nerdy boy (and his NASA shirt) is my favorite thing in all the land.
He is so much fun. I am really enjoying this age.
My kids tend to bicker a lot.
They aren’t mean to one another…they don’t hit each other…they just…bicker. It’s like they haven’t quite figured out that whole sharing business.
But lately…and oh boy do I hate to jinx myself…they’ve been playing together really well.
The other day…all FOUR of them hung out in the boys’ room playing Lego for a good TWO HOURS.
We are working our way through learning to read in our hybrid homeschooling gig…it’s not Henry’s favorite thing so I try to not push him too hard. I don’t want him to hate reading. But it’s really starting to click and that’s fun to watch.
In the meantime, apparently fat fish are the mom fish.
I ordered Jilly a new backpack, and she loooooves it.
She pretty much thinks she’s grown up and ready to move out.
The girls at Chobani Champions are the sweetest ever.
And not just because they send my yogurt adoring family boxes of yogurt…including their new yogurt tubes.
And a spoon. With a hashtag on it.
Be still my instagram loving heart.
Stay tuned: I may or may not have a couple of boxes to give away to you soon.
I walk into the room to find my boys. Hanging out. Playing. Giggling.
My biggest and my littlest.
It makes me want to cry. For lots of reasons.
