InstaFriday

Taking advantage of the micro blogging we do on Instagram.

Week after week.

(I’m jeannettg)

This little guy was awfully quiet in his Bumbo.

Turns out he fell asleep.

I want to just gobble him up sometimes.

Henry’s math book had an activity based around the Toroise and the Hare story.

Somehow, Henry hadn’t ever heard it, so after telling him, I searched You Tube for a cartoon.

I found an old school Disney version that I remember watching as a kid.  I bet you did too.

(Click that link…does it look familiar?)

My Lisa Leonard charm bracelet came!!!!!  I am giddy.

Do you know about it?

You get the bracelet with one charm already on it that you can add any initial to.  I chose G.  Obvs.

THEN…you get one charm mailed to you every month next year.

Little surprises in the mail every month?!  I’m so excited.

I can’t wait for it to be a jangly, funky, clickety, clackety racket on my wrist.

For those of you still shopping, this would be a great gift…how cute would this be for your mom?  Or if you have a college aged daughter that lives far away?  A little trinket every month for a year would be so sweet.

Henry found this random frame somewhere and asked if he could have it for his room.

He then proceeded to draw our family to put in it.

I’m totally stealing it.  For the living room.  It’s too much.

Speaking of Henry…I finally pulled down our Christmas boxes today and started getting stuff set out.

I found this old photo that Henry’s daycare gave us as gifts.

2007.  The first baby.

And then there’s Owen.

Who looks an awful lot like that baby in 2007.

It’s pretty creepy actually.

I just love that little face.

It seems extra cute in that beanie.

I think he needs another one.

Needs.  Totally.

Okay crazy kids, it’s your turn!  What’dya do this week?

Grab a button (in my sidebar), link up and leave comment love on at least two other InstaFridayers!

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.

Hi, Jeanett. I’m Jacci. Delurking here, although I’ve only been lurking for a little while.

I’ve been reading though your blog here and there this week. Reading, crying, nodding. Not because I really know anything about your struggles, but because I know the Truth you so often point toward. And my heart is saying an “amen”.

You have a beautiful blog. It honors and exalts Christ without feeling the need to gloss everything over. Well done.

I love that picture that Henry drew! I love that you want to put it in your living room. My daughter told me the other day that our house “is like an art gallery.” I thought maybe she was talking about my own paintings and ceramic pieces that I’ve decorated with, but I realized that she was talking about all her drawings and paintings that I also have up. She loves seeing her drawings up on the walls like an art gallery. So sweet. Have a great week!
