These clearanced out Halloween pirate patches have gotten heavy use around here.
I mean, really? A cuter pirate has yet to be.
Okay, there is Johnny Depp…we’ll call it a draw.
Hostess was the bankruptcy heard around the world.
I happened to be at the grocery store that same day and I bought the last four Twinkies in the whole store.
It was strange because I was all sad about it, but then I thought: “When was the last time I actually BOUGHT one???”
Nostalgia is nice, but most people I know haven’t actually purchased Hostess products in…years? Decades? Funny thing.
I found rust inside my tea kettle this week.
SUPER gross.
I need to email Le Creuset…I can’t imagine that’s normal wear, right?
Happy mail this week from sweet friends who pay attention to silly details.
The dwarfs have been used for bowling, hide and seek, and gone to space in assorted toy shuttles.
And, just like when you ask someone to name all 7, they can never seem to remember more than 6….one dwarf seems to always be missing in action.
Dress up continues.
Fairy wings are a new favorite.
And worn through impromptu cat naps on the floor.
Thanksgiving morning I got dressed in a cute long flowy skirt, a fun top and fully accessorized. Special occasions and such.
About 10 minutes later, Lucy started throwing up. On Thankgiving day…at not our house.
Super pleasant.
Why hello yoga pants and t-shirt, you old friend you.
(She’s much better now…just a 24 hour gig.)

Sorry to hear you had a sick one on Thanksgiving. That stinks. Yoga pants are so much better for Thanksgiving eating, though. Glad it was only a 24 hr deal. Hope no one else gets it. Have a good week!

I had the same thing happen to 2 Le Creuset kettles…I bet they’ll cover it. I wish I would have thought of it they are pricey. I ended going with an electric Russell Hobbs which is so wonderfully fast. Hope the flu stopped at one kiddo.
