Simple, sweet, everyday.
This week, most of my images are of little Owen. It’s just how it goes these days.
Be prepared ovaries of America…you will begin to twitch by the end of this post.
This boy has captured my heart.
All of my kids have, but maybe it’s because this time, I am not a first time worried mom…nor am I at the depths of unfathomable exhaustion with twins…but just one baby. One healthy, no specialists, seasoned veteran of a mom Baby.
I’m loving this.
Even when he’s wailing he’s cute.
Even if it’s because he’s hungry.
He is incapable of being near me without wanting to nurse.
While I love feeding my babies…there are certain body parts that would prefer he gave them a little more of a break.
Having a baby sometime soon?
Find these. Buy these.
They are FANTASTIC for giving some cool relief. I’m super bitter I had never heard of them with previous babes.
The hospital gave me a few sets, and I’ll admit I was shocked at how expensive they arewhen I looked them up…but honestly…sometimes there are things worth their weight in gold during those first few days of nursing.
Ask for them as a push present or a birthday present or something. They are heavenly.
The day of my c-section, I got this happy stack of colorful bunting from Meg in the mail.
I can’t wait to hang it in the girls room for a fun touch of color…all the way from Kansas.
I love my bloggy friends turned real life friends.
They are the sweetest blessing I never expected from this little hobby of mine.
I snuck out with Auntie Peggy and Cousin Nelle for a postpartum pedi.
Wrapped tight in a Moby, 7 day old Owen was chillin’ like a villain the whole time.
We did this exact same thing (in the same Moby) with Henry, so it was fun to do it again.
And a little Starbucks Passion Tea doesn’t hurt.
While getting my painted piggies on, I saw this front porch that made me swoon.
Aqua door? Yellow accents? Galvanized pails?
But not as much as this makes me swoon.
Happy, happy color.
Fun, crazy patterns.
Squishy new baby.
I can hear his little new grunts and groans just looking at this picture.
And I am happy.
