We made cheesecake this week.
Well, I made cheesecake.
Lucy helped herself to the mixer blade.
And I do believe she may even have tasted a little bit.
After costume pics at the park, the kids changed into grubby clothes and played during sunset.
Daddy met us on his way home.
It was really nice.
We should do that more often.
And it doesn’t hurt that I ran through a drive thru for dinner on the way home.

My score of the week were 6 of these bitty preschool sized school chairs I randomly found at a thrift store.
$1.91 each!!!
Except that I called them “vintage” and caused quite the stir.
Apparently they’re not vintage. Lo siento.
I just think they are cute and will look fabulous in our playroom.
So there.
Andy really wanted to be Ron Swanson for Halloween.
But a last minute business trip meant that shaving down to a mustache was probably not the greatest or most professional idea.
He was bummed.
Like, for real bummed.
Being the awesome wife I am, I surprised him with a handmade Pyramid of Greatness.
Each square hand cut.
Three hours later, I emerged victorious.
I’m pretty sure I earned some MAJOR brownie points on this one.
Take notes ladies. There may actually be THREE ways to a man’s heart. And one may just involve cardstock.
I had never actually read the Pyramid of Greatness in its entirety, but having to type each square out…
I was fully laughing out loud at the computer.
Dying. Just dying.
I thought I’d share a few of my favorites (although honestly, they’re all hysterical).
I’d have shared more nuggets of Greatness except that Andy took it to work with him.
I hear it now hangs in his office.
Like I said: Brownie Points.

We lick the beaters after mixing. I think it is a must when baking. You are probably the most awesome wife for putting that together for your husband. I have no clue who that is but the squares you showed were really funny :) Have a great weekend!

Before I ‘Insta’ my pictures I like to dress them up with ‘Snapeee’ It’s free and has cute frames and tags etc….

I feel pretty fortunate that although I work in a Silicon Valley start-up, it’s pretty chill and we can look like or wear whatever we want. That sucks that Andy couldn’t keep a mustache :( However, you ROCK for making that pyramid. Genius!
