You know those shops that you really just can’t get enough of?
You somehow find yourself back again and again sorta meandering the digital aisles of happy goodness?
I’ve found myself back at Barn Light Electric’s website more than once since I got my fabulous kitchen pendant lights.
They really are amazing and well made and just. too. perfect.
So when Barn Light told me about their latest B.L.O.G. giveaway promotion, I once again found myself clicking around at all the gorgeousness and wondering what room in my house could use some Barn Light love.
My first thought went to my master bedroom which I recently did a pretty massive overhaul on a couple of summers ago.
You can’t see the lighting fixture in this picture, but it’s a ceiling fan.
A nice-ish ceiling fan as far as ceiling fans go…but HGTV tells me that ceiling fans are a home dec faux pas…not to mention that we never actually use the fan part anyway so it’s not like it’s really functional in exchange for the semi-ugliness of it.
I really really love the romantic feel of this Krishna pendant.
Like, really love.
In fact, I might marry it.
Actually, it’s settled.
I’m totally running off to Bora Bora with this light.
(Had you told me I would be this excited about lighting when I was a teenager, I would have scrunched my nose and protested mightily.)
And while I was at it, I thought…ohhhhh…Henry’s room could use a funky light!
Right now it’s just a boring flush mount thing that came standard with the house:

Seriously too too too perfect for a little boy’s room.
