Last week, I met up with some friends for some much needed girl time.
Dinner, laughing, being catty.
You know, the usual.
Love the idea for this chair!
Wouldn’t something like this be so cute for an outdoor patio area?!
After dinner, we decided that some Coldstone’s was in order.
Because the calories consumed through the burgers and fries weren’t enough.
It’s whatevs.
Vanilla ice cream, strawberries and macadamia nuts?
Love.
My husband is a basketball fanatic.
He watches it, he plays it, he reads about it.
He plays on a city league team and the dudes are legit.
Last month he broke his (pinkie!) finger and tore a ligament and had to go to a hand specialist and wear a brace for 8 weeks.
Most expensive pinkie known to mankind.
Last week he came home with two gashes in his brow.
The next morning he woke up looking like Tammy Faye Baker.
You know how bruises get grosser and turn a rainbow concoction of colors as they heal?
Not pretty.
Street cred.
It’s like the NBA I tell you.
Two.
Highly displeased.
Highly.
I made that ruffled table runner for the baby shower earlier this week.
I’m sad to report that the cursing and general anger did make a special appearance for this sewing project.
I’m fairly certain that my thread broke at least 498 times.
My friend Joy is making the COOLEST signs for sale.
The minute I saw them, I knew I had to have one and I knew exactly what I wanted it to say.
I’ll tell you more about it soon, but here’s a sneaky peaky.

I didn’t realize your girls & mine were so close in age! My girls will turn two on July 31st! So I know exactly what you are saying about the emotions that go with that big milestone! P.s….love the license plate chair too! So fun! (also, I dont think the link is up? Couldn’t do it from my phone and usually I can each week, says something about submissions begin July 21 at 7:48 pm)

We don’t have a Coldstone close by but se sure love to go to the Marble Slab that’s not to far. I always get coffee ice cream with heath bits in a heath dipped cone. It’s bliss coated in coffee and chocolate.

Okay, I have attempted ruffles (like for a scarf) so many times with elastic thread and am convinced my machine just can’t handle it (tension problems?) and have been brought to tears too many times. I might have to try again. Any tips?
