Welcome to InstaFriday!
Don’t have your bulky camera with you all day but you have your phone handy?
Take pics of the sweet, funny, random moments of your day and then paint the picture of what you’ve been up to all week!
I have an iPhone and use the Instagram app, but any cell phone pics will work!
Somehow I got on the mailing list for one of those birthday party supply catalogs.
Bieber Fever on the cover.
It’s just a lot.
And it’s purple.
My eyes are bleeding.
I had $40 Kohl’s cash that was set to expire on Saturday.
I thought, ‘hey, maybe I’ll get some new shoes?!’
I saw these.
I can’t even imagine someone EVER seeing these and thinking “Wow! So cute!!!”
(Now watch, I’m gonna get an email from someone who not only owns them but swears they are the most comfortable shoes they’ve ever owned.)
So, I ended up getting that ice cream maker I’ve been pining over the last few weeks.
It was on sale for $48.99.
So I only paid $9.43 out of pocket!
My kids have been playing really well together lately.
Sometimes it’s a constant fight.
They adore one another and seek eachother out constantly.
But they often want the same exact toy.
It was a balm to my soul to see them enjoying one another without screaming.
Speaking of balm to my soul.
My sweet girl.
She’s been able to pull to standing for a while now…but she always need a lip or something to grab onto to hoist herself up.
It was so hard to watch.
You ever seen those weight lifters whose bodies shake and twitch and beads of sweat form until they can get that huge weight over their head?
Once they get it up there they can stop and smile?
That was kinda what it was like watching Jilly pull up on the train table or whatever.
But not anymore.
And can pull up on flat surfaces.
Strong like bull.
She even pulled up to standing with her brother.
It was so sweet.
He held her there so patiently.
“Look Mommy! Jilly’s standing! She’s doing so good!!!”
That boy has a heart the size of Texas.
He is always so so so proud of his little sister.
Not to be outdone, Lucy came over for a group hug.
I wish you could hear the audio.
Jill was giggling so hard.
Just thought this was the funniest thing ever.
Two pots of Pasta e Fagioli done and ready by 6:00 a.m?
Took dinner to Jen yesterday.
Got to snuggle her 2 week old babes.
Love that newborn smell.
There’s just nothing in the world quite like it.
Pure sweetness in a tiny bundle.
Now it’s your turn to link up!
But before you go, don’t forget to read yesterday’s post if you haven’t already.
It’s beautiful. And I want you to see it. Because it’s important.
I think you’ll agree.
