I don’t know who this woman is.
But I know exactly how she feels.
The hand to the chest.
Because surely her heart will explode if she doesn’t hold it in.
When joy aches.
Her breath caught.
She’ll remember to breathe again in a little bit.
I can hear her thoughts.
Prayers of thanksgiving and praise.
The exhaustion gone.
The pain a memory.
Just pure, unfiltered, overwhelming, all encompassing
LOVE.
Happy Mother’s Day to you and yours.
Kiss your littles.
Play today.
Praise.
And on this Mother’s Day consider giving a little gift to other mamas.
Crying very very different tears.
And for that mama:
The one in this ugly ugly club…
I value your heart.
Don’t waste your suffering.
Encourage others.
Use the story God gave you for His glory.
We’re all in this together.
Promise.
