InstaFriday – take 2

My unabashed love for Instagram continues.

It’s so fun to snap random throughout the week.

And tweet it.

And sometimes post it to Facebook.

But I think it’s a fun way to document the tiny details of your day in a fun and hip way too.

Here’s a few of my favorites from this week:

Our Target was just remodeled and added a grocery section!  Gasp!  This might be bad people.

But even more than that: TRIPLE KID CARTS have been added in!!!!  COULD THIS BE MORE PERFECT???!!!  I think not.

Except of course when a woman asked me: “Triplets?”

“Wha?  No.  The girls are twins.  But he’s two years older.”

“Oh!  I totally thought they were triplets!!!”

To which the random dude a few feet away said “I thought they were triplets too!”

That’s a new one.

Henry started swim class this week.

Except that it’s not Learn How To Swim Class…

turns out it’s Playtime In The Water Class.

Whatever.  It’s cute.  He thinks he’s soooooo grown up.

Lucy insisted that she wear her baby legs down below her knees.

She then insisted that she wear the pink glittered tennies.

It was quite the look.  How gray is my hair?  I feel like I ask that every week.  Oh wait, it’s because I do.

Now I know what some of you are thinking: she’s not even TWO, how can she “insist”???!!!

I know.  I would have thought the same thing.

But y’all haven’t met Lucy yet.  It’s like stubborn on steroids.

I’ve been meaning to get Henry one of those caterpillar turns into a butterfly kits for a while now.

So when my friend Liz blogged about it, I instantly placed an order.

And they came FedEx super quick.

And we set it all up excitedly.

And it’s boring.

Like, super boring.

Plus, I have to field “Did they turn into butterflies yet?” questions about 458 times a day.

Everytime I use windex I think of the dad from My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Which makes me then think of my family.

Which makes me laugh.

Because the first time Andy and I watched that movie we sat with our jaws on the ground.

THAT’S TOTALLY YOUR FAMILY JEANNETT!!!

DUDE, I KNOW EXACTLY HOW THAT GUY FEELS RIGHT NOW!!!

SERIOUSLY THIS MOVIS IS MY LIFE!!!

Disclaimer: Andy’s family is not the ultra boring forks clinking type like in the movie…but compared to my Portuguese family…it’s quite the contrast.

Joy.  Happiness.

I can’t wait until he can do it for real.

Is that mean?

Whatever.

If Heaven had a scent, I’m convinced it would smell like this.

Somedays, if I’m having a bad day, I’ll wipe my kitchen counters off with this stuff.

Just so it smells pretty.

Now, I want to warn you: it’s not cheap.

Like…$10 for one bottle at Target.

I know, right?!

And I’m ULTRA CHEAP!!!

But I promise it’s worth it.  Scouts Honor.

Which would mean more if I had ever been a Girl Scout, but let’s ignore that fact.

It’s worth buying just to have and use right before you have company over.  It’ll make your kitchen smell like unicorns and rainbows and sparkley sparkles for HOURS.

Or you can be like me and use it all the time…because you found five bottles on clearance for 75% off.

Sorry.

It’s totally okay to hate me.  I would hate me too.
