I love this video. I hate this video.

I hate this.

Because it’s true.

Because we all walk by.

Because we are all preoccupied.

Because we all have our own issues.

Because we are all busy.

Because we feel like our portion doesn’t matter so why bother?

Because we simply don’t care.

I hate this video because I hate that it takes jolting to get our attention.

I hate that we can’t SEE without being shown.

I hate that it takes guilt.

But I love that it shows hope.

I love that it shows goodness.

I love it’s simplicity.

I love how it shows the power of one person.

One person who took the time.

In a few weeks I’m being interviewed for a documentary on Compassion Fatigue.

This video makes my head spin.

It overwhelms me.

Both good.  And bad.
