I know, right?!
It was like a million years ago!
Oh wait…only a week? Wow. Feels longer than that!
Sheesh.
We spent the Thanksgiving weekend at Andy’s aunt’s house with their family.
I must admit, it was *really* nice to not have to worry about the meal planning, and the grocery shopping, and the prep.
Unfortunately, I was feeling crummy all weekend.
Really crummy.
And I did a bad job of photo taking.
In fact, this is one of the only photos I have of actual PEOPLE.
“Quick! Find your camera! Lucy is CUDDLING!!!!” (a rare moment to be sure)
I thought Henry might want to do a Thanksgiving craft and make place holders for each person.
I don’t know I was thinking. The kid hates crafts. 22 seconds into it, he disappeared and yours truly was stuck cutting and gluing alone.
But I think it came out cute. Even if I’m 30. And I spent half an hour cutting out paper hand turkeys.
Mason jars are the best invention ever. So versatile.
When Peggy pulled out blue cups, I kinda cringed. Thanksgiving, really?
But I ended up LOVING the way it paired with the traditional reds and oranges of Fall.
On Friday, eight of the adults went wine tasting in Sonoma Valley.
I hear it’s real pretty there.
But I wouldn’t know.
I literally spent every second in the car napping and apparently, also snoring.
I was sooooo sick.
Didn’t take a SIP of wine. Poop.
Peggy packed a fabulous picnic lunch and I did manage to eat an entire box of ginger lemon cookie things.
You think I’m kidding.
Hey look! That’s me! On my own blog! Cool!
Happy (a week late) Thanksgiving!
(p.s. See Heather! You’re on here! TWICE!)
Thanks for the shout out, Jeanette! It was really nice spending time with you and Andy. We will have to do it again when you are feeling better!

Bummer. You knew I would be disappointed. You make cute kids you should have another!
Hehe… I had to laugh when you mentioned the blue glasses. For my October ’01 wedding, my maid of honor, who also has a BA in Fine Arts and is a Graphic Designer, picked a cobalt blue for bridesmaids dresses. It went wonderfully with the reds, oranges, and yellows of the fall flowers and decor we used. Made me reminicse!
