Sunday marked my husband’s…

30th Birthday!!!

I’m married to an old man people!!!

Okay, so I’ll be thirty in like three weeks.

Whatever, he’ll ALWAYS be older than me!

We had a really, really, really fun weekend.

So fun, in fact, that I only took like 7 pictures.

So you’ll just have to trust me.

Oh, and the fact that my stupid camera didn’t give me any warning that my battery was going to die didn’t exactly help…

We spent the day on Saturday wine tasting.

We are lucky enough to live in what may be one of the most beautiful places on the earth…with some of the best wines.

My most favorite of all wineries (both for the wine and the ambience) is Rancho Sisquoc Winery.

And since I’m an amazing wife, I played DD.

Which is extra special because this was one of the rare times in YEARS I was even able to drink.

Because in case you didn’t realize, I’ve been either pregnant or nursing for all but FIVE MONTHS of the last FOUR YEARS.

Not that I’m keeping track or anything.

{Sorry friends.  I am well aware that this photo doesn’t capture a single one of you very well, but it was the only one I took!}

Okay, here’s one with your heads cut off.

I really love the rustic wooden bar.

And my husband’s wedding ring.  :)

Oh look at all those beautiful bottles.

Taunting me.

The grounds at Rancho are gorgeous.

If only my stupid camera hadn’t pooped out on me…

We visited a handful of wineries, then headed home to start up the BBQ where we had a bunch of friends over for tri tip and all the fixins!

Lots of fun, lots of love…very tired.  :)

Happy Birthday Husband!!!

Thanks for picking me to grow old with!!!

And for the rest of you, don’t forget to read Kristin’s story and consider giving towards her walk to fight breast cancer!!!

Tweet it, facebook it, share it!

We can all band together…a little from each of us…to make one BIG!

I'm a mom to four. A wife to one. I believe in story. I love telling you about mine and would love to hear yours. There's really no sense in wasting our suffering and not sharing in each other's joy. We're all in this together...even if it doesn't always feel like it.

Ha ha! My husband turns 40 next week :) Guess we’re kind of in a different decade. Have you tried Kenneth Volk’s winery? I love wine tasting. I secretly want to own and run a tasting room/deli. Don’t tell Cade yet. Glad it was a good time!
