I am fully aware that I should be the adult in this situation.
But is there anything funnier than fake dog poop?
I think not.
This may, or may not be funnier to me because in this case, the poop is, in fact, fake.
Because Lucy may, or may not, have once gotten into Henry’s poopy accident pants.
And she may, or may not, have made a complete disgusting mess of herself while I ran him up into the shower.
And I may, or may not, have been gagging and dry heaving as I wiped her *face* clean.
So, fake poop may, or may not be a good way of making light of an otherwise vile situation.
Not that that happened or anything.
‘Cuz good moms don’t let that kind of stuff happen, right?
That’s what I thought.

My youngest went through a stage where she couldn’t stand being in a poopy diaper, so if we put her down for naptime and she pooped, she removed all her clothing and then smeared the poop all over herself and the walls. I would walk into her room and the smell would hit me, then I would see her covered in poop, hair, face, everything. This went on for months despite our every effort to keep her from taking off her diapers at naptime.
So yeah I can relate. (gag)
We have a fake poop as well and I just love seeing the people’s reactions when they have seen it in the middle of our living room!!! Haahaa…this was a good laugh!!
